by Jimbo, 2 years agoI've used this for years, and to be frank I liked it. Unfortunately, the app no longer works now.
Keep in mind that this does not seem to be the fault of the app itself; I've noticed that several other downloaders have experienced the same issue in that instead of the video, you download a 5 minute MP4 that says it's not available on this app and to watch it on YouTube.
Since this is happening to multiple Download apps, I can only assume that YouTube itself has found a way to trick these addons into downloading these empty MP4 clips instead of the video.
In short, I hope this app gets around this new issue; In the meantime, screw YouTube with a jackhammer.

posted 2 years agoI have fixed this and you will receive an update via auto addon update in firefox once it is reviewed there. If you are on Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge you need to manually update by visiting this download page.
It's disheartening that many satisfied users don't leave reviews while a few unsatisfied ones do, that too after using it for years but not working for few days :(

- Rated 1 out of 5by ChickyKnight118, 6 hours agoYou don't need to use this most likely virus filled YouTube video installer, just use Video download helper, please don't resort to sketchy extensions. it is also a trial, not free software, if you want free software, just use video download helper. This extension charges $30 a year for videos after 50 downloads, and they don't clearly disclose this on the front page. Too many errors to count. don't use this garbage, there are way better free alternatives.

I have recently started making a 'Radio Playlist' of songs I have downloaded via Easy Youtube Video Downloader Express to use in my car from a 256gb USB stick as a free alternative to the poor FM radio options in my city.
