by Firefox user 11666926, a year agoAt first, it worked fine. But then a problem appeared where YouTube would freeze completely and only by closing the tab it would be fixed. It took me a while to connect the dots and at first I tried disabling the add-on and try watching a YouTube video again and voila! YouTube no longer freezes, period. I am gonna look for something else. Hope this review helps someone who has the same problem.

posted 7 months agoHi! YouTube freezing is a serious issue and we're glad you figured out the cause. That memory/performance bug is fixed in version 24.1 — it should no longer interfere with YouTube playback. If you'd like to give it another chance, we'd really appreciate it! 🙏

- I was sceptical at first, but it really works, I can now download youtube music videos that I could only download in premium subscription of youtube and I can play those videos in VLC media player. There are higher resolution download options too, that I could have had to buy a premium subscription to chose otherwise.

- Rated 2 out of 5by Straw, 4 days agoThis page says the "Access your data for all websites" permission is optional, but after installing it, it was enabled by default?? This is really suspicious setup, whether intentionally or not. I don't need a downloader to read everything I do outside of YouTube.

- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 14836028, 5 days agoThis tool is a.maz.ing, it can help you make great ''mp3player'' files, or you can save whichever podcast or program, whatever video, here on youtube ofc and can make yourself various playlists for ''net-down'' times, even if it happens on your phone after transferring the mp3files, which I primarly do mp3@256Kbps bitrate, in all perspectives a great tool for sure net-down moments, like walking, running, going to the city or another place with train i.e. where net-down is a must at least here in SLO in remote regions. FIVE Stars without hesitation!
