I have tried a couple of other Youtube downloaders in the past but by far this is the easiest and best Youtube downloader out there!!! Bar none!!! I highly recommend this to anyone!!!

Hands down the best extension for the job.

I'm very impressed that there is continuous work going on to update this add-on. It works very well and it has allowed me to download YouTube how-to videos so that I can review techniques off-line. A great product and one that is well worth installing and, more importantly, supporting. Thanks for the great product.

Really excellent add on for downloading youtube videos. Simple, straightforward use, you can chose the resolution. Highly recommended !

If this new process of stream conversion requires such "powerful server infrastructure," why is the author willing to provide that at a flat rate? In fact there are applications that perform this function on the user's end at virtually no cost.

The app I use (which I won't name but is easily searched) has this in its free edition, and does the work during the download without ever using more than 5% of available resources. This on an processor manufactured in 2011. A twenty minute 1080p video downloaded and converted in just over 3 minutes. Yet virtually every addon developer claims that the conversion must happen at their end, and they will need to charge the user for this service. Nonsense!

The author has every right to paygate this feature as convenience, but NOT to assert that the feature is necessary to you or costly to him. This is misleading and in my view borders on predatory.

This is the choice of video downloaders. It gets the job done and is very clean to work with. Thanks to the author!

Easy Youtube Video Downloader Express is (in my opinion) the absolute best video down loader for my Mac. I say this because of 1. Ease of use: all I had to do was add the extension to Firefox and it works. 2. The incredible support offered when changes are made by Mozilla or Youtube. Though it can be slightly frustrating to be down for a few days when aforementioned changes occur, I know support is working on the issue and things will be rectified shortly. Please keep up the great work as I could not get by without you. My education depends on being able to download and archive Youtube videos that aide my learning process. Thanks so much for an invaluable service.

Reliable, and easy to use.

Works like a champ - downloads highest quality videos quick and easy. When Google changes their YouTube download protocol it causes hiccups with the product but I am always able to download videos. And whenever hiccups happen the developer is quickly on the case to resolve the issue.

YTVD is a highest value addon. Deepesh maintains and supports his supporters. My go-to downloader.
