Added AI features that kill the point of using the app.

1 star and uninstalling because AI integration destroys the planet and contradicts the whole point of having this in the first place, also the search database they use got full of ai slop, so even if you disable ai ALOT of the articles you get will also be written by ai and there is no effective way offered to disable or exclude ai articles/sites from search results (except excluding all search items post around 2020 witch is not always convenient or feasible if you are looking for something that needs to be up to date). It is a shame because otherwise a good idea and solid engine, and also personally a shame because now I have to go find a search engine that actually still works like a search engine.

Claims to save the planet but uses generative AI lmaoooo, even if they claim their AI is the most "green" one it doesnt change a thing, ai is still doing incredible damage to the planet even if you hide behind your lies

used for a long time and was always pretty happy with it until they introduced generative ai features. gen ai is HORRIBLE for the environment. i cant keep using a search engine that claims to do good for the planet when they have features like that, it's completely contradictory. im not sure you can even turn it off? it shouldnt have features like that to begin with, much less have them be the default for all users.

I used the extension, missing the level next to the user icon , although authorized and using the search engine as before, please fix it

Was my go to search engine until AI overview was forced into my face. Pretty oxymoronic to advocate for a better planet and turn around and destroy it with AI datacenters.

Really disappointed that this add-on didn't save my history or my bookmarks. I've lost weeks of research because of this. Plus the results coming up when googling something are rarely pertinent compared to other research engines.

For some reason. though i always use Ecosia . . . it never counts the trees planted?? So I am forever on nought . . . what to do . . .

No page filtering for malware pages, tested 3 results, all 3 led to pages that wanted to install malware.

Useless add-on. I am uninstalling it and am never reinstalling again.
