- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 20027266, 2 days agoIt only lets you hide written words, not actual elements.
So if a page has a 'please agree to let us collect and use your private information' pop up (literally the only thing these are used for) you can't use this to get rid of it.Developer response
posted 2 days agoThanks for the feedback. Do you mean it only hides the text in the popup or it does not detect it at all? If it detects the text you can adjust the keyword sensitivity by editing the keyword and increasing the sensitivity slider value (higher value=more parent elements will be hidden around the found words).
You also have an option to select and click elements via Element picker tool (target icon in the ElementHider popup) and it will add the element css selector as a keyword.
Hope this helps! Or if you want to share url/screenshots feel free to send me an email and I can continue troubleshooting. - Rated 1 out of 5by centurion 2000, 8 months ago
- Rated 1 out of 5by Bill Baldwin, a year agoThere is nowhere to enter keywords to hide elements. I select Options or Manage and it takes me to the same thing that has Details, Options, Permissions. None of these has a place to enter keywords. Element Hider does not appear in my toolbar or right-click menu. I cannot find any way to use it.
