FoxyProxy Standard by Eric Jung

by Jorn, 9 years agoAfter the FF57 update I imported my configuration from FF56. I thought it was working fine, the URLs I had set up patterns for were being fetched through the specified proxy, or so I thought because the logs told me so. However this morning, I forgot to start Tor (the proxy I'm using), however all the URLs were being loaded, even the ones that were, according to the FoxyProxy log, loaded through the proxy. So it seems like it isn't working at all.
Great Add-on however! I understand the difficulties with porting the Add-on to WebExtensions and I am confident that the developer is capable of fixing this.

Regarding the issue reported by some users that the extension cannot be used, it is suggested to try changing the value of the "network.proxy.type" setting in about:config. If the value is 0, you can try changing it to 1. If it is PAC, you can change it to 5. - Rated 1 out of 5by cxtbs, 22 days ago

- Rated 3 out of 5by daydreaming, a month agoFor almost a year now, FoxyProxy hasn’t been functioning properly. The extension keeps staying connected to the very first city that was selected during the initial setup. Even when changing the location in the settings, it still remains stuck on that original city.
The developers seriously need to investigate this issue. Me and several other users have been experiencing the same problem, and the only temporary fix seems to be uninstalling and reinstalling the extension completely. - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 18586574, 2 months ago

- Rated 4 out of 5by Lulu5239, 7 months agoWorks and the log feature is useful, but there is a chance that this slows down my phone's performance when watching videos, even without any proxy selected. I now disable this extension when not actually using it.
