by HyperMushrambo, 9 months agoBlatantly lying about your service is SUCH a quick way to earn a one star review. "It's free! We offer it totally free~" and the SECOND you install it? "BUY OUR PREMIUM PLAN!!" Kindly take that straight to hell. Also "Oh yeah we can translate images" Can you? CAN YOU? Your website sure says you can but second I tried not only did it take me to a separate tab to upload pictures individually, which is NOT immersive and NOT convenient, but it also gave me a sweet little "Your browser doesn't support free translation." My BROWSER doesn't support free translation? Why would I need to use chrome for a feature to be free? Seriously be honest about your product and you'll be fine but none of this "A free-to-use translation service" nonsense. I might have even used your extension for other things but I do NOT appreciate being lied to. Immediately uninstalling.

They're no longer trustable. - Rated 1 out of 5by tremault, 3 days agoTranslation has gone erratic. I just noticed it has changed to all ai and the options for machine translation have disappeared. This is no longer trustworthy or reliable.
I had one sentence translated INTO CHINESE instead of english. I have never touched chinese. - Rated 1 out of 5by Toxic Flux, 3 days agoNo longer has a free option, just a limited time trial, also removed Google translate as an option so the translations are very bad now. Avoid this one at all costs, its garbage.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 19895410, 6 days agoFree translations no longer allow the use of Google Translate or Bing. Replacement is very low quality and sometimes translates to multiple languages (e.g. Spanish source, translated to English, German and French, rather than just English).

- Rated 3 out of 5by mattyice, 8 days agoThe bilingual subtitles have been pretty useful for translating Russian to English on YouTube. The pricing for the Pro and Max plans are honestly ridiculous though. Not sure how you can justify charging more than a ChatGPT or Claude Pro subscription, especially when the user interface and settings feel buggy at times and not fully polished.

If you're a reader of articles and sites like me, you'll notice it fills up very quickly. The best is to know good English or go to a course lol.
