Firefox Multi-Account Containers by Firefox

by Firefox user 13020120, 6 years agoIt's a good tool to separate the browsing spaces, however, I find it somehow half-way between the private mode and the regular mode.
For example, I have opened multiple sites in several containers, then I have checked the cookies set by various sites by going to Options -> Privacy and Security -> Cookies and Site Data -> Manage Data. I was surprised to see them all, without any classification. The extension doesn't allow a per container management of the cookies.
I was also expecting it to let me choose which other extension is enabled in any of the containers, but I guess that feature might need an implementation at a lower level.
Later edit: I often start a regular tab because either I forget to long click on the "+" button to start a container tab or I press Ctrl + T (I am used to it). Maybe the Ctrl + T shortcut should open a new tab having the same type as the current one.

- Rated 1 out of 5by SCS-Technik, 2 days agoThe extension is useful in principle, but it seriously lacks an important feature: there is no easy way to reset the default container or manage saved site assignments.
Once a website is set to always open in a container, it can become very frustrating to undo this behavior. Some URLs keep opening in a container even when I don’t want them to, and there’s no clear option like a “reset” button or a simple “always ask” checkbox.
This leads to a confusing and annoying user experience. Please add a way to reset container assignments or at least prompt the user before forcing a container. - Rated 5 out of 5by Wolfy, 5 days ago

This is less important now that FireFox offers Cookie Isolation in Privacy settings, but it's still useful as it allows me to have multiple different accounts logged in for the same website at the same time. - Rated 1 out of 5by Undefined_ID, 11 days agoeach new device integrated in Firefox Sync BROKES EVERY CONTAINER PARAMETERS I HAD!! This plug-in is crap!!!

- Rated 3 out of 5by bedbug, 23 days agoit used to work perfectly i could open like 40 containers at a time. now it wont open more then 11 containers for some reasonand when i keep trying to make more it just opens random links?
Also the tab ordering button is a mess. i have containers from 1 -150and i accediantly moved container 17 bertween 82 and 83 so i said sort tabs by containers and now all the containers are a mess. I hope a container sorting thing would be nice - Rated 4 out of 5by Y0zha_x96, 23 days agoСами контейнеры работают, но неудобно добавлять по одному сайту. Не хватает простого текстового поля для ввода нужных сайтов.
