In response to the developer response, the thing that's wrong with this in my view is that without declaring clearly that most of the features are locked behind a paywall, it's a bait and switch. Monetising a product is understandable, but here the description boasts a bunch of features without saying you have to pay money for them, and I think that's dishonest.
In fact, the description even suggests supporting the developer on patreon, which implies to me this product is a donation-supported, typical of free software. I don't know how popular it is to "donate" to developers of paid software on patreon. It's not really a donation then.

posted 7 months agoAnd what's wrong there? The basic groups for organizing playlists are free. If you want extended features, you should become a patron. You can see a list of additional features on our Patreon tab. It takes time to update the extension every time YouTube changes internally.
