- Rated 4 out of 5by anon77111, a year agoExcellent pw manager that only gets better with time! My only "complaints"/requests keeping it from 5 stars:
1) QR codes --
ProtonPass could really use a QR code screenshot/image scanner (like GNOME Authenticator's) for sites that don't alternatively provide the code (e.g. Twilio).
2) Email Aliases --
There's (currently) no way to attach aliases to the sites for which they've been created. So every time we click on the email input for an aliased site, we're prompted to create a new alias instead of being able to select an existing email, alias or otherwise.
3) 2FA --
I love being able to have multiple TOTPs, but it'd be an ENORMOUS value-add if ProtonPass allowed us to match specific TOTPs with specific websites/subdomains. Current example...
I have one Azure login with access to 4 tenants, each w/ their own TOTP. Upon login to any Azure sites, I'm routed through each tenant's MFA...
tenant1 login: ProtonPass produces the main TOTP, which happens to belong to tenant1 (correct)
tenant2 login: ProtonPass produces the main TOTP, which belongs to tenant1 (incorrect).
tenant3 login: (same as tenant2)
tenant4 login: (same as tenant2)
I have to go back to the extension, scroll to the bottom to see my list of extra TOTPs, copy the correct one, then paste. This leads into #4...
4) Privacy --
I would love to see an option to hide, or even just collapse, recent account logins by default so everything isn't on blast when accessing ProtonPass while screensharing/streaming/pair-programming/etc. (Bonus pts for a virtual blackout option, like "Privacy Mode" on RustDesk/AnyDesk/etc.!)
Keep up the incredible work and overall mission!!Developer response

- Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 13507826, a year ago4 stars instead of 5 because sometimes it bugs, it doesn't autofill the credentials of the site I'm on. And sometimes Simple Login doesn't come automatically to fill new credentials

- Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 18785715, a year agoAmazing app for security as well as note taking. I use it with "delete all cookies after session ends" enabled for more security without any of the hassle
Some problems with autofill when used firefox mobile and sometimes on firefox browser itself. The app doesn't autodetect the forms that need to be filled as well as on chromium based browsers. - Rated 4 out of 5by kurogane79, a year agoI generally like the extension. it does what is advertised, but i remove one star, because you can ruin your logins if you dont be careful,.. when you generate a new login and fake email... it can happen, that something doesnt get saved

With the addition of file attachments arriving soon it can replace my 1Password subscription completely.
I don't like the PIN-login though, I would prefer to use my Proton Password or Windows Hello.Developer response
posted a year agoThank you for your review. Keep in mind that you can disable the PIN code in the extension settings if you don't wish to use one (proton.me/support/proton-pass-pin). On another note, you can set up an extra password if you'd like more security (proton.me/support/pass-extra-password). Meanwhile, we've made sure to share your feedback with the team accordingly. - Rated 4 out of 5by donderwolk, a year ago
- Rated 4 out of 5by Bork, a year ago- Autofill and password saving don't always show up when they should, but works great ~99% of the time.
- If a login page redirects you twice, the pop-up for saving the password disappears.
- Would love more control of symbol/number amount in the password generator (simular to Bitwardens solution?)
- As a new user I struggled with finding every feature. The interface feels like it compromises on intuitivity for compactness and looks, tho it's even worse on mobile. - Rated 4 out of 5by Firefox user 18325544, a year agoOnly thing stopping me giving it a 5/5 is a lack of ability to scan barcodes with the premium version

I have to manually create the account, and after logging in, it asks again if I want to save the new login. A bit annoying. Otherwise, a great add-on!

- Rated 4 out of 5by Trev, a year agoThis has been the best password manager I have ever used. It would be great if the browser extension would allow us to zoom in on the info or enlarge the font because sometimes it is too small to read.

- disable autosave for this website doesn't seem to work
- defaults to individual vaults rather than all log-ins, which means I often have to manually change to find the password that I need (and was very confusing before I realised this was happening)
- can't/doesn't offer auto-populate when pages have a small pop-up login rather than the login elements being displayed in the page (although this depends on the exact website)Developer response

So much so i paid for lifetime. The reason i can't give 5 stars is friction. Proton pass can't recognize some login fields and doesn't give you a easy way to handle that situation. You have pin it to the toolbar or navigate to it from extensions, open the extension, find the login info, copy it and paste it yourself. THERE IS NO EASIER WAY. What this extension really needs is a "right click menu button" to customize behavior or at least give you access to login information and fill the field i right clicked up by itself.
I really love proton pass. Please just give us RIGHT CLICK MENU !!!Developer response

The only change I'd like to see, is being able to make different folders for different types of accounts. For instance, maybe you'd have an account for business or shopping, or even for websites/passwords that you don't want someone else to see.
