- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 17397608, a day agoI already thought this was great, thinking to myself: ‘This is exactly what a PWA should be, unlike the official taskbar tabs on Windows.’ But when I discovered the setting to open links in the default browser, I was absolutely floored. Immediate five stars!

- Rated 1 out of 5by Orobouros, 4 days agoDoesn't do anything as far as I can see. Doesn't recognize any apps you've already created natively in Firefox, doesn't create any new ones, ever ("unexpected error occurred"). What a waste of time.

- Rated 1 out of 5by Tony, 3 months agoOnce the extension installed my firewall was deleted and none of the web apps that I made actually worked. They worked for a moment but they just froze up and my computer crashed.

Scoop says the latest version is installed. Again, great when it's working, frustrating when it's not...and nothing changed on my end!
Update 1/31/26 - I finally got it working again through some VERY roundabout steps (including removing PWAs, deleting entries from registry, and reinstalling via scoop). This required AI assistance because scoop was not installing properly as well. It's now fluid, but this was a stressful process!!!
When it works, it's usually great. However, I can't get it to install anymore on my Win 11 laptop. It stays stuck on the "Connector Installation" screen. I can no longer use it and I've tried everything (removing all registry entries of firefox, uninstalling Visual C++ and reinstalling from the extension setup, uninstalls and reboots until the cows come home). This was a great failed experience. I hope it works again someday. Better yet, Mozilla...bring native PWA to Firefox! It's essential!Developer response

- Rated 2 out of 5by OCDGeek128, 3 months agoForced separate profiles from my base Firefox is a deal breaker. I have to log in twice on all my websites. Just makes everything a pain to set up, especially when I need to reinstall Firefox elsewhere.
Sigh, I really want to move on from Chrome but the way PWAs are handled there is the only thing keeping me on there. - Rated 4 out of 5by noxlux, 5 months ago
- Rated 3 out of 5by Firefox user 19588349, 5 months ago1 Star Review 11/21/2025:The UI/UX of this extension seems bugged as of November 11th, 2025. The scroll bar does not allow me to properly scroll down to actually create the PWA and the pop-up for the extension itself runs down the entire screen from the very bottom of the extensions taskbar icon.
I'm running this on an Asus Zephyrus M16, so a 16in screen, and zooming out on the page and trying this with the browser minimized doesn't help. I was very excited to use this extension until this roadblock, and I will happily try again should this be user error; but having skimmed the installation and user guides, I saw no mention of resizing the popup or anything of that nature.
3 Star Edit(same day): I realized something shortly after posting this, and found a workaround thanks to that. I have poor eyesight, so I have my font size generally set to 16. Putting it down to 12 fixed the issue for me, so I've raised my rating to 3 stars from 1 star. While it works this way, there should be a scaling setting to prevent such a thing from happening in the first place. What if I was unable to read at a lower font size at all? Once this is fixed, I'll very happily give this another update.Developer response

- Rated 4 out of 5by Lo zar, 7 months agoGreat, but on Gentoo I complied from source. Is it normal that I must use sudo?
Developer response
posted 7 months agoProbably yes, but I'm not very familiar with how Gentoo package installation works. - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 17341475, 7 months ago

- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 18751479, 9 months agoHonestly thing thing is fantastic. FF probably will never bring native PWA back to FF. Zen is also a ways out, but this extension is near flawless. Use it every day. It is well executed, reliable, and makes my life better. Thank you!
