I have been using VDH for years, with the Firefox browser, and have thoroughly enjoyed it. I strongly recommend the companion app, and keeping up with the latest iterations of this adaptable and growing app. I have found the Google support group to be of immense value to me when having questions regarding installation or maintenance of quality. I plan on keeping VDH as my only "go to" for continued great downloading service.

I am really impressed with the new BETA version. It makes downloading super simple, and convenient. KUDOS to the dev team and to VDH as a whole.

I love the ease with which the new Beta allows for fast, accurate downloads. I had to figure out switching to the Legacy version to convert local files, but that is a minor inconvenience.
VDH becomes more user-friendly with each upgrade. I strongly recommend the Companion App also.

By far the best video download extension there is. Have used it for years in several different browsers other than Safari.

Last line of defence before getting dirty and start looking for curl link from browser Developer Tools. Second choice for downloading any video. Not easily automated, but super reliable. (First choice is ofc yt-dlp)
