- Rated 1 out of 5by inics, 2 days agoRendered itself completely unusable forcing QR codes into all videos asking for a 20€ donation for a license. Uninstalled.

- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 19543459, 2 days agoCannot download video from some of the biggest sites (or you can download video but audio doesn't work). Slow download speeds but I'm not sure if it's add-on fault. Premium option is too expensive (you can find free tools which won't smash big QR code on downloaded video).
From the bright side: nice and intuitive GUI. And that's all.
Waste of money. - Rated 1 out of 5by Ian, 3 days agoWas good while it lasted. But now I get a watermark on videos forcing me to pay money to get it removed. It's bad enough I get a watermark, but the price this addon is asking is just far too much. This is a classic bait n switch. Greed is obvious here. In the recent past I have paid for addons and third party programs that stop working after a while. Won't be fooled this time around. Will be looking elsewhere for my YouTube addons.

- Rated 1 out of 5by ak, 4 days agoall of a sudden adds a MASSIVE QR to downloaded videos (making them basically unusable) asking for donations.. immediately uninstalled, i'll find other ways from now on
- Rated 1 out of 5by DH, 4 days agoSuddenly puts a huge watermark in downloaded videos, making it completely useless without paying.
It claims the watermark is for converted videos only, but they are in all downloaded videos.
At least warn the user instead of wasting their time with this crap. - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 13714902, 4 days agoUsed to be a really nice addon, but it got ruined by being greedy and randomly adding a watermark asking for donations, which wasn’t the case before. I do support developers if addons like these take effort and time, but then write me a nice email or something, but not like this. I obviously removed this addon and will never install it again.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 19540551, 4 days agoRuined a once excellent plug-in by greed. Now you can download only videos crippled with a HUGE watermark unless you pay for an obscure third-party product. Install an old version, if you have saved one, and deny any updates.
- Rated 1 out of 5by X5-176, 4 days agoUPDATE: The recent 5 star reviews have gotta be fake or bots since the big qr code change, I doubt anyone wants that, gotta investigate and see where they are coming from, also the fake reviews and qr code move is just predatory enough to probably warrant reports on it.
1 Star rating he's now putting a qr code on our videos being downloaded to force us to buy, already bad enough he wanted us to download a 3rd party companion app to make the extension work properly.
This was a bait and switch on his part, he wanted as many people as possible to download and use the extension and now he's trying to force us to buy it, pretty scummy imo.
Uninstalled and possibly never coming back to it, there's other alternatives this was just the easiest at the time.
Will keep come back now and then to make sure others know how bad and scummy this move was though. - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 19540112, 5 days ago
- Rated 1 out of 5by Avolii, 5 days agoThis went from a 5 to a 1 real quick by adding a HUGE QR code onto downloads to extort $30.50 to remove. Other note is how it will cause streaming to stutter so you're constantly disabling it as soon as you're done using it.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 13997858, 5 days agoBig QR code when you download the video. Unuseful
- Rated 1 out of 5by Nandy, 5 days agoXD....Lifetime License
FK QR code & FK Video DownloadHelper "UNINSTALLER"
Installed Jdownloader - Rated 1 out of 5by gjl, 8 days agoLeaves a HUGE QR code on downloaded vids until user pays $30.50. Not only that, I'm not crazy about their required permissions - "Access browser activity during navigation" and "Access your data for all websites." Sounds like tracking to me for which I'd be paying $30.50 to allow.
- Rated 1 out of 5by user5432, 9 days agoUsed to work great, but now every downloaded file has a huge water mark which makes the recording useless. Moreover the download speed is miserable.
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 19532835, 9 days agolast update adds a huge QR to the downloaded video, making the download useless unless you pay €20.50.
doing this deserves an uninstall, if developers were smart enough they would find alternative methods, but instead they are going to get review bombed and lose all the users. for the people that couldn't find a decent video downloader, maybe check out JDownloader2. 👍 - Rated 1 out of 5by Matthew, 9 days agoLeaves a giant QR code demanding $$$. Corporations have sucked my wallet dry with their greed in the last 5 years, frankly I just can't be bothered anymore. Record with OBS, use 4Kvideodownloader, I don't care but I'm not paying for this!

- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 18686871, 10 days agoI cannot vouch for this. It puts a gigantic watermark on your downloaded video unless you pay for a "lifetime" license, with no assurance that the extension will continue to work as different services change their API.
- Rated 1 out of 5by meehcko, 10 days agoAdds a gigantic QR code watermark that takes a fifth of the screen. You're expected to pay $30+ for a "perpetual" license, while these extensions often keep breaking or become inoperable due to services changing their APIs
- Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 19530106, 11 days agoDownload wird abgebrochen, vollig Sinnlos, Schrott!
- Rated 1 out of 5by Ksko1900, 12 days agoAfter what I’ve experienced, buying another license from this company simply doesn’t make sense.
There’s too much unpredictability regarding browser support, product stability, and transparency in licensing.
A “lifetime license” means nothing if core features can vanish overnight because of external decisions, effectively rendering the purchase worthless.
