- Rated 1 out of 5by Dewayne, 2 years agoI used to love this add-on, but with the latest updates, they removed the ability to save files to my local cloud drive, even thought it is always mapped to every system on my local network. I can no longer even get to my network drives by browsing to the /media directory. Apparently the development is going downhill or the developers just don't care anymore.
If you intend to use this app on a network, like a lot of people do, BEWARE of the extreme limitations of the latest version of this add-on
I'm currently looking for a replacement for this add-on myself and will let you know what I find. - Rated 1 out of 5by Firefox user 18329270, 2 years agothis extension requires a separate app to be downloaded to your pc in order to operate. It doesn't do what it says on the box.
The user interface is clunky and unintuitive. - Rated 5 out of 5by Jimmy0865, 2 years ago

- Rated 5 out of 5by JD, 2 years agoUpdate after 6 months: I am still very happy with this add-on. Downloads most of the ones I try with relative ease.
The feature that allows me to choose the directory and name prior to download makes it nice.
It still does not seem to do YouTube without humongous water marks which makes it unusable but it is fine. I have not used the new update but I assume the history will take care of the errors that makes me forget what I was attempting.
Orig: I am really happy I found this extension. It works very well. I have been using it for one month.
I read lots of reviews of this add-on about safety and concerns. So far I have not encounter them and it is coming to one month of use.
There were some concerns about companion app in the reviews so I also did a search. I did not find anything that concerned me and so far no problems.
I like the fact that I can rename the files before they are downloaded and like the convenience of being able to use long file names. One has to be careful about using characters that are not allowed by windows.
One thing that can be improved is when there is an error, I would like to know the file that was not successfully downloaded. This may be my inexperience/setup who knows. It was showing the information but it stopped it one day. As I mentioned, it can be due to my improper setup.
Overall, this is great! - Rated 3 out of 5by pep, 2 years ago
