by Firefox user 12447378, 4 days agoThe plugin works, but I'd rather it grab the first line of the tweet and save it along with the original author's ID and the tweet time, instead of just naming it twitter-image-1.jpg. That makes it even harder to trace than Twitter's random filename. Honestly, at this point, it's basically the same as just opening the full-size image and right-clicking to save it.

However, I have three feature suggestions.
1) An option to bypass the pop-up that displays the media type after clicking the blue button. This would reduce the number of clicks required.
2) An option to automatically generate a filename to enable true one-click downloads. How about a simple filename consisting of the date, time, and file extension?
3) Enable downloads from the Media tab on the user’s profile page. This would be useful for excluding reposted media.

A one-click download mode with auto-generated filenames and support for the Media tab are great ideas. I can't promise an exact timeline just yet, but I've added these to my feature request list to look into for future updates.
