- Rated 5 out of 5by Giulo, 4 days agoWorks perfectly. I replaced a YouTube Enhancer extension that got pulled from the Firefox store with this, very happy to have found a FOSS alternative that ticks all the boxes.
One suggestion, could you add the option to have a mini player pop up when scrolling down on a video? Similar to what Enhancer for YouTube™ had.
Thank you!Developer response
posted 4 days agoThank you so much for the kind review! I’m really glad the extension is working well for you and that it could fill the gap after the other one was removed.
I’m also excited to share that two new features are coming in the next update:
• A mini player that opens automatically when you scroll down to read comments, plus a button to open it manually anytime
• A timestamp preview feature that shows a video preview when hovering over timestamps in comments and the video description
More good stuff on the way. I really appreciate the support!
Edit: This feature is almost ready to release. Because extension updates can take a while to be reviewed, I usually bundle a few bug fixes and improvements together before publishing a new version. - Rated 5 out of 5by SL, 23 days agoEdit: Thank you! That fixed it for me. I appreciate having a developer that actively works on their project. This add-on works excellently!
The app works very well and I like how streamlined all the options are. A minor concern is that when you change the background colour for the website as a whole, it also changes the colour of the bars around a video when it's in theatre mode. It would be great if these could be separate, as I prefer when videos play on a black background, but the entire site being black is hard on the eyes.Developer response

Thanks for the review, I am really glad you like how clean and streamlined everything feels.
The Deep Dark theme is not something I directly control. It is a separate theme that I have permission to include, so its background behavior comes from that. That said, you can tweak this yourself using the Custom CSS feature.
If you want the sides of the video in theatre mode to stay black while keeping the rest of the site lighter, you can add this:
```
div#movie_player {
background-color: black !important;
}
```
You can swap out `black` for any color you prefer. Thanks again for the feedback, it is definitely helpful. - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 16037773, a month ago

- Rated 5 out of 5by hskoo, 2 months agoIt's a great extension! But... could you please also remove the sponsor video from the YouTube ad deletion function?

posted a month agoThanks for reviewing! I'm kind of confused about what you are talking about. If you are talking about mid video sponsors an excellent extension Sponsor block already exists for this purpose. If you are talking about ads on YouTube I don't want to do that it. - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 19606063, 2 months ago

- Rated 5 out of 5by Alinivar, 2 months agoA W for replacing the late original. I recently just looked for it on the Floorp fork of the Firefox browser to install and saw a reddit thread saying it had been discontinued, which I didn't even know it had since I still used the last available version just fine.
- Rated 5 out of 5by Dakart, 2 months agoA great extension. It would be nice to make "remove video" and "mark as unwatched" buttons in watch later playlist a white color. And add the ability to disable each of the buttons .

posted 2 months agoThanks for the review! I’ve forwarded your message to the original contributor for their input. Your idea sounds good, and I want to make sure they’re included as well.
Edit 2025-11-27: In version 1.30.1 the change you requested has been added. - Rated 5 out of 5by E1ectro, 3 months ago
- Rated 5 out of 5by Ana, 3 months agoFINALLY a way to get rid of those AI summaries!! However I don't know if it's just me, but that only works when I uncheck and then recheck the box while on the video page, otherwise the summary still shows up. In any case, still a great extension, with many features I didn't know I needed until I saw the whole list haha

- Rated 5 out of 5by Styphoryte, 3 months agoAwesome plugin, it would be nice if we could get the restore old UI like how the discontinued Youtube Enhancer works in Chrome, I just noticed today when trying it automatically restores the old UI. Also just that and an option to pin the player when scrolling down with adjustable sizes and different positions, just like in the old discontinued one and man this plugin will be NUMBER 1!!! Now I have to just use like 5 different plugins and combine them for the features I need but hoping in the future I can remove a few and only use this one and a few others perhaps instead of 5 plugins and 2 tampermonkey scripts. One script to restore old UI ofc and few others. Thank you so much for your work! Hope youtube doesn't remove their old UI fully too soon or I'm gonna be annoyed lol ah well. I'm sure people will be able to re-create it somehow with css theming or something I hope. I cannot stand this new UI will always figure a way to replace it. One last option I think could be added to your plugin is restoring the smaller icons only in theater mode, instead they use these bigger icon versions. Maybe this ublock filter could help you implement this feature itself. Fix the wwwdot i cant send links in FF review's.

posted 3 months agoThank you for reviewing, You can make feature requests on the GitHub so it's easier for me to work on your suggestions. - Rated 5 out of 5by София, 3 months agoОтлично работает, все свои функции выполняет. Не хватает только 2 вещей: отключения автовоспроизведения и возвращение старого режима театра, новым пользоваться невозможно.
- Rated 5 out of 5by CK, 3 months agoThank you for making this, finally let me remove Youtube shorts. I have lost so much time because of them and their constant existence was an endless reminder and temptation for that sweet instant dopamine followed by a deathscrol until I would recover 30 minutes later.
I can hardly describe the sheer relief I felt when I saw them disappear from my screen in real time.
I don't even know if I am going to be using a single one of the other features but dear god does the shorts being gone feel like freedom.Developer response
posted 3 months agoYou're welcome! Thank you for Reviewing. Even if you only use one feature of the many I'm happy the extension can be of use. - Rated 5 out of 5by AndroBG, 3 months agoVery good replacement for now old and removed Enhancer for YouTube.
- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 19546146, 3 months agoGreat replacement for the now defunct Enhancer plugin, with some additional customization which has been quite nice. Although it took a bit of time to figure out why I couldn't figure out why I couldn't place some buttons.
