by Firefox user 14624200, 4 months agoHit "Start" and nothing happens. WL is almost 5,000 - is that the issue? I'd also like to request that the tool have an adjustable threshold for what gets cleaned from the Watch Later instead of just nuking it all. A configurable percentage watched would be useful, for example 25%, which would only remove videos that have been at least 25% watched.

posted 4 months agoHey appreciate the review. I just updated the application so that sending me debug console logs is much much easier. Hopefully you'll be able to send me the bug report in the future and I'll use that to improve the application.
WL being 5k should have no effect on the issue. I'll see if I can add some advanced features....
Edit: Version 2.3 was just uploaded and SHOULD allow you to specify % watched (advanced section). I think it's a great feature, I'm just worried there's bugs somewhere. If any of y'all hit a bug, send me the logs and hopefully I'll be able to figure out a fix for you

- Rated 1 out of 5by fexxis, 17 days agolatest update seems to have made the extension stop working for my purposes. rather than removing a given number of the oldest videos from the playlist and then being manually stopped, manually stopping seems to prevent it from making any progress, forcing a choice between clearing the entire playlist or doing nothing.

posted 17 days agoSorry dude to hear that. If you click the little bug button in the extension, it'll scrape your logs and create an email to send me, so i can better understand what is going wrong.
The behavior hasn't changed, except the recent version uses a background script and runs until stopping. If you send me the logs, I'll do my best to help you - Rated 5 out of 5by AzithromY, 18 days agoWorks like a charm and even has a neat modern little status bar! My watch later playlist clogged by my younger self is finally free xD Big love.

- Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 15092712, a month agoWorked well, though I initially got some API errors it instead automatically switched to a different method and completed it correctly. Wonderful extension, thank you! Not sure why Google doesn't automatically remove or at least give the option to do this.

You're right, it initially attempts to use the API to mass clean, but if that fails, it uses the UI and JavaScript to do the same. - Rated 5 out of 5by Firefox user 15921485, 2 months ago
