You can use Normal mode and then tweak Scale options to your needs. Leave some black bars and avoid distortion.

I tested on Disney+ just now and it is working fine. Depending on the show's video size and your screen size, modes may or may not do anything, but you can always upscale manually with X and Y options.

Yes, I am sure. Full access is required so that the extension can inject its functionality on every page. Creating a long list of like 1000s of domains that are video streaming platforms world-wide is quite bad and aside there would be no way of knowing if the website has embedded videos on it.

So yes, quite sure it needs full access.

You may want to try reloading tabs that were open before the extension was installed.

I can confirm it works everywhere.
