It no longer integrates with the desktop application, but seems to integrate with the vaults shared via 1password.com only - I obviously don't keep any of my useful passwords there, only low value ones shared with my wife via the family subscription.
For all my real passwords, I want to retain control so I protect and sync those files outside 1password.

This extension works directly with 1Password.com accounts and vaults. It can and does still integrate to the desktop app, but locally stored vaults are not supported and require the old classic extension which can be obtained here: https://support.1password.com/cs/1password-classic-extension/
We strongly recommend migrating your data into your 1Password.com account to get the best out of your 1Password and enjoy a proper experience.
If you have any security concerns, we’d love to address them all and elaborate on how we (and you) keep your data safe! Feel free to email us to support@1password.com with any question/concern and we’ll reply as soon as possible.

At the time of writing this, I can only get version 8.12.4 and 1Password have already released 8.12.12 two weeks ago. The version Mozilla have is close to 3 months old.... - Se valoró con 2 de 5por Christopher, hace 4 meses

The most serious issue is that it does not work properly with HTTP Basic Authentication pop-up login windows. In Firefox, I often have to click multiple times and even navigate back in the browser before eventually receiving a different error message, after which the login may finally work. This issue does not occur in Google Chrome.
This has been going on for months. I pay for an expensive subscription, but I do not expect to renew it unless this problem is properly resolved. For my work, I use a very large number of HTTP Basic Authentication links with login pop-ups, and this simply has to function correctly. At the moment, I am forced to click repeatedly or switch to Google Chrome just to get basic functionality.
Support from 1Password has also been extremely slow. It often takes several days to receive a response, which is very disappointing.
My subscription runs until November 2026, but I am already considering alternatives. That is unfortunate, because 1Password does many things very well. However, when it comes to Firefox, the overall experience has been a major disappointment. Judging by the large number of negative comments here, I am clearly not the only one experiencing this.
Sidenote: also the 1Password application for Android phone has issues; it reports 9 out of 10 times, that it has no connection, so all passwords I am adding, do not show up on my desktop. #fail #1password - Se valoró con 1 de 5por Usuario de Firefox 19822537, hace 5 mesesThe plugin is significantly slowing my browser, tested my suspicions on a browser benchmark site and speed score went from 8 with the plugin on and 30 with it disabled (nothing else changed)
