The extension failed to save / update password from time to time, and just says "Oops, we couldn't save your password hehe." and forgot to let me to copy the latest password.

works great, except for the passkey feature. I saved passkeys for different websites. When i want to login a popup with the passkey appears but nothing happens when i click on it.

New version is broken obviously but calm down, just install the previous version.
open the main Add-On Page > scroll down to the bottom > Version History > click "See all versions" > install "Version 2026.7.0" by clicking "Download file" > install and log in

Generally good, but they need to fix the display bug that causes functionally necessary information and buttons to be hidden off screen with no way to access.

Upgrading to vaultwarden 1.37.1 fixed the problem with extension

Recently replaced another secrets manager with Bitwarden and have been mostly pleased with the transition. Something changed recently though and the browser plugins for Firefox variants seem broken / unable to connect to the binary install for macOS. First it seemed like just biometrics but browser passwords are just completely broken now. It's something that can be worked around but also shouldn't have happened in the first place.

A great extension, but recently the extension is showing massive performance issues, slowing down the browser to a halt. Specifically on Reddit for me, for some odd reason.

The latest update 2026.5.0 is causing major issues and slowing down many sites and making the entire browser grind to a halt at times... this is unacceptable.

For some time now, when entering the PIN in Bitwarden, the input is cleared before it can be confirmed. Only after entering the PIN a second time does it remain stable and allow confirmation. works reasonably well but has a lot of annoying bugs that just seem to be getting worse over time. recently my biggest annoyance right now is that when I enter my PIN it sometimes doesn't register all key presses or sometimes just straight up deletes some of them for some reason.

Generally a very good password manager, but a flaky add-on. I rely on Touch ID a lot and the add-on has had a bug for a very long time where Firefox full screen on macOS will be knocked out of fullscreen when you Touch ID. Also, the biometrics very rarely work first time after a reboot. Minor annoyances add up for something as frequently used as a password manager.

Causes delays in the current version of Firefox when browsing websites or with pop-ups. Please fix.

Has recently stopped being able to auto fill on 70% of websites. It requires me to copy and paste username and password manually and it's getting frustrating.

Recently, the prompt to update your password has been annoying, even though you haven't changed your password. This happens especially when you use 2FA via Bitwarden. Apparently, the extension thinks you have entered a new password.

Autofill feature does not work as well since the lastest updates.

Works great for filling, saving, and managing my passwords, but it causes lag when typing in many websites. I've tested with and without the Bitwarden extension enabled, and whenever I have it enabled there is a noticeable performance drop.

Logging in with Windows Hello on Win11 24H2 and the latest version of Firefox has not been working for months, so you always have to log in (initially) with the master password.
