What if I want to delete everying older than 1 day old and keep everything newer than 1 day old? That is useful. Everything in the last 24 hours is pointless.Respuesta del desarrollador
publicado el hace 9 horasThanks for the feedback. That would be useful, but it is a different cleanup mode from what the extension currently supports.
Firefox’s browsingData API works with “clear data since this time”, which fits options like last hour, last 24 hours, or all time. “Delete data older than X days” is not available for every data type, especially cache and site storage.
I’ll keep it in mind as a possible future option for the data types where Firefox supports it, such as history. - Se valoró con 5 de 5por jsis8, hace 20 días

publicado el hace 9 horasThanks for reporting this. Android support had a real issue in version 4.9, and I fixed it in version 4.10.
Version 4.10 has been submitted to Mozilla and is waiting for review/publication. Once it is available, please update and try again.
One note: this extension clears Firefox browsing data through the WebExtension API. It does not clear the Android system-level app cache shown in Android Settings.- Se valoró con 1 de 5por ЯромиR, hace 2 mesesDoesn't work on Android... Only imitating, I checked cash through phones apps settings, the size of loaded cash stays the same after hitting "clear" of this add-on... So, this is only a fraud, doesn't doing its role ..

publicado el hace 9 horasThanks for the report. You were right that Android was not working correctly in version 4.9. I investigated it and fixed the issue in version 4.10.
Version 4.10 has been submitted to Mozilla and is waiting for review/publication.
One important detail: Clear Cache clears Firefox browsing data through Firefox’s WebExtension API. It does not clear the Android system-level app cache shown in the phone’s App Settings screen, so that number may not change even when Firefox’s web cache is cleared.
Once 4.10 is available, please update and try again. - Se valoró con 5 de 5por shart, hace 2 meses

This is SUPER important for many browser extensions, and for browsers themselves. Take the time needed to be thoroughly familiarized with extension machinations, what it does, and doesn't do, what each of the settings do and properly configure them when applicable, and make sure browser settings are compatible and or properly matched.

Add-on funktioniert nicht.
publicado el hace 9 horasThanks for the report.
If you stay logged in after clearing, the most likely reason is that “Cookies” was not selected in the extension options, or “Site data only” was enabled with a data type that Firefox cannot clear per site.
Cache clearing alone will not log you out. To remove login sessions, cookies must be selected. Some sites may also keep sessions through storage, so selecting Local Storage / IndexedDB can be useful too.
I improved the options and error handling in recent versions to make this clearer. Please check the selected data types in the extension options and try again. - Se valoró con 4 de 5por Usuario de Firefox 15411453, hace 6 meses

That really sucks. It was a bug in 4.4: “Current tab only” could wipe more than it should. I’ve already fixed it and sent the update to Mozilla, just waiting for approval. Once it’s out, it’ll behave correctly.
Please update when it’s available. If it still happens, tell me the version and I’ll dig in. - Se valoró con 1 de 5por Lucy Mills, hace 9 mesesThis extension mistakenly deletes your data for ALL websites even if you set "only current tab" in its settings!

Who in their right mind wants the addon to wipe ALL their cache!? It should've been set to 15mins of current tab only, the minimum, by default. Now I'll have to re-login into all of my sites because of those unexpected s**ty defaults. Terrible UX

publicado el hace 8 mesesI get why you’re upset. Just to clarify: the default doesn’t wipe cookies, it only clears cache. Losing logins would happen only if “Cookies” was enabled in options. The current default is cache only + current tab, but the time period is “all time.” You can switch it to 15 minutes in Options.
I also have long‑time users who prefer a full clean by default, which is why I kept “all time” as the default. Still, I’m open to adjusting it if most people want 15 minutes. - Se valoró con 1 de 5por Usuario de Firefox 19538877, hace 10 meses

Revolutionary precision clearing:
• Clear data ONLY for the active tab / But even is you select "Current Tab Only" - clears data for ALL sites. Lots over 20x sites of login info - cause of this! -_-Respuesta del desarrollador
publicado el hace 8 mesesSorry for the late reply. This behavior was a bug in 4.4: “Current Tab Only” could end up clearing data beyond the active site. I’ve fixed it and submitted the update to Mozilla, just waiting for approval. Once it’s out, it’ll behave correctly.
Please update when it’s available. If it still happens, tell me the version and I’ll look into it right away.
