- Se valoró con 2 de 5por Eleventi, hace 2 díasFor the last week this addon no longer works for downloading IG stories, it gives 500 error API message. Still works for the main posts.
- Se valoró con 1 de 5por andreafrasca94, hace 12 díasI have 3 instagram profiles, this extension works only with 2 profiles, with the 3rd profile it gives me 500 api error when i try to download stories
- Se valoró con 3 de 5por bishibashi, hace 14 díasworks smoothly, but apparently the resolution of images it downloads are limited or kinda random. Like, it downloads only 1k or 2k resolution even other downloader gets 4k which actually has higher quality. I really hope the dev finds the fix for that.

publicado el hace 2 mesesSorry about this — you're right, downloads were failing. A rebuilt version (4.0.0) that fixes the download errors has already been submitted and is waiting for store review; it will reach you as an automatic update as soon as it's approved. - Se valoró con 3 de 5por zvert, hace 2 mesesUsed to be really good, now increasingly more buggy to the point of limiting functionality. When one download fails, it will consistently fail for that user's stories going forward, but will continue to work for others. It's strange. Seems to not get caught by IG's anti-automation measures, though, so that's a positive.

publicado el hace 2 mesesThanks for the feedback. Instagram has changed some of its APIs, and for some reason it only affects certain users. I'm looking for a workaround, and I'll fix it as soon as I find a reliable solution and have the time to implement it. Thanks for your patience! - Se valoró con 5 de 5por Iceflower S, hace 4 meses

- Se valoró con 5 de 5por drazen_os, hace 5 mesesThis extension is simply amazing. I wish there was a way to make bulk download of the whole profile gallery, but I can live with one-click download of individual images/groups of images. Thank you for providing this extension to the data hoarder nation.
- Se valoró con 4 de 5por William Sargent, hace 6 mesesLove this extension... been using it for a couple of years, but the past few days it is only working part of the time... like less then 25% of the time. Not sure if Instagram has made some changes on their back end causing it to not work.

Very useful add-on, works reliably and integrates nicely into Instagram’s UI.
However, I’d like to request a few improvements that would make it much more efficient for power users.
1. Original filename option
In Settings → Filename Pattern, please add a variable that lets the saved file use the original CDN filename from Instagram.
For example, in Kendall Jenner’s latest birthday photo post, the actual image file on the server has a name similar to
573111393_18971195284044931_2042470374313188073_n.jpg
It would be very useful if the add-on could preserve that original name when saving, instead of generating a random or simplified one.
This helps maintain proper archiving and reference of source material.
2. Automatic user subfolders
It would be great if the extension could automatically create folders based on the account name, for example:
C:\Users\User\Downloads\Downloader for Instagram by onlinetoolset\kendalljenner\
That would keep downloads neatly organized without the browser asking for a save path every time.
3. Bulk download without repeated "Save as..." prompts
When downloading multiple images, Firefox currently opens a save dialog for each one.
Could the extension handle multi-image posts in a single batch, or reuse the same chosen directory automatically?
This would save a lot of clicks and time when archiving large posts.
Overall the extension works well. These small quality-of-life improvements would make it perfect for frequent use. Thank you!
