Easy to use Youtube Video Downloader

This is a great resource and I use it Every day. It is very reliable and my donation has been worth every penny. I highly recommend you try this facility, and donate when you are happy to support the developer, this app allows me to enjoy videos when I'm not online, travelling or in a remote location...

I'm using this Extension very often to have nice clips locally. One big advantage is that clips are not interrupted by advertisement.
Really easy to use and reliable, even though youtube hampers this extension.

Settle down, people. It's a constant game of cat-and-mouse with YT and developers who come up with YT downloaders. It's been that way for years, and I've certainly been through my share of YT changes of algorithms designed to snuff out said DL's. This DL ABSOLUTELY deserves 5 stars. It's NOT the fault of the developer that it has gone belly up in the last couple of days - it's the fault of YT (once again) who has changed their algorithm (once again). Hopefully this irritation will be thrashed out soon and we'll be back to DL heaven. In the meantime, just bookmark the vid in question and maybe return to it later.

Doesn't work. Used to until a couple days ago. Apparently Youtube is now charging to download and as far as I can tell, Youtube has stopped this app dead in it's tracks.

Looking at other reviews, I see other people tried paying. Still didn't work. So I won't be trying that myself.

I Have been using this app for years and am a donor. It works extremely well and is very easy to use. Unfortunately YouTube change their algorithms frequently. This is where the great support excels, the author fixes the issue and brings out an update to fix the problem in short order. Donations are what keep this service running and are worth every cent.

Straight forward, my grand mother could use it, amazing.

This has been a wonderful tool for me. I can understand why YouTube hates it -- I haven't seen an ad in years -- but, realistically, I'd use YouTube a LOT less if I actually had to sit through those. Right now, I go to YouTube whenever I want to and I check it multiple times a day. Without this tool, I'd only use YouTube when I actually needed it, which would be once a week or so.

Changed my rating after years of successful use. The October 2024 change at YouTube made this extension ineffective for me, and nothing new since then here so I bumped down to three stars. I don't know if upgrading to the PRO version will get things back to working, but I am not chancing it since I don't see any updated announcement in support page since October. I am using "YouTube Downloader (UDL Helper)" now to download 360p video from YouTube if anyone is desperate for an alternative to this

Excellent, easy to use and the author tried to keep up with changes in youtube's coding and policies. Too many current negative reviews reflect a short term hiccup. Most of the time, it is easy to get the videos you need.
