The Developer gets the coding up to date almost immediately whenever YouTube makes a change to their own coding (this is their attempt to stop people from downloading and will be a constant thing, so get used to it).

Users get errors on this plug-in when YouTube changes the code, then they're ignorant enough to put up a bad review. IGNORE THAT. Use this plug-in. It's the best and most versatile I've used BY FAR.

Extremely easy and effective, BUT youtube changes its codes to discourage downloads, so the addon may seem to not function properly. This operator is very fast in correcting the resulting (youtube!) bugs. 5 stars

The Video Downloader is so helpful for me and I really appreciate the constant attention to update which keeps it working. When this downloader appears to be broken it is because Youtube has made changes which have created problems. I am on satellite for internet and this is about the only way I can enjoy my favorite Youtube videos. My service is very limited so no streaming or watching videos live or I burn up my allotted download time. We are offered a free zone from 3 AM to 8 AM. When I get up in the morning I download all the videos I want to watch later, while I can use the free zone. Downloading is much faster than viewing live so using the downloader allows me to download multiple favorites. Without this ability I would probably not view Youtube very often.

So far it does what it said it does. YouTube is genuinely a better, more user friendly experience. Thanks guys

I've been using this add-on for a few years now and every time Facebook changes something to block downloading...this add-on is shortly updated correcting the problem. Great job!

If you want to download YouTube videos, even in 1080p Full-HD, then this is the add-on to use. It works seamlessly with YouTube; just choose the format you want from the on-page download menu. YouTube try to stop downloads by changing their code. But Dishita, the developer of Easy Youtube Video Downloader Express works tirelessly and is never far behind in finding a way to work with the new YouTube code. A brilliant add-on; if you think you don't need it, get it and you will soon find that you do need it.

Fantastic and super easy to use

I've used this for years and it does the job. The author updates this more often than I download from Youtube, so it's rare that I find a video that won't download.
