With the free version, I could d/l any quality mp4 but no mp3 at all. The reason stated was that HQ 1080 required too much server - I was trying to d/l only 128! All in order to get me to pay to upgrade to PRO. So I did.

All d/ls now are effortless and fairly quick. A 1.5 hr interview was converted in less than 4 minutes. And it doesn't break or stall in the middle like other d/l-ers do.

Definitely worth the donation! Keep up the good work!

Free version is limited to low-res downloads, unless you get lucky, but that's fair if developers want to make some money in lieu of their investment.

Actual downloading seems fine, but if you try to access settings through the add-ons page or the drop down on the Youtube video download button, there's nothing, so videos download in the current default folder rather than a specified download folder for this utility, thus 4 rather than 5.

The free version is the best Youtube downloader I have found. I have made a donation just for the free version, if I can also download HD videos I will be really impressed.
