This dowloader worked great early on, but later and as of now it doesn't finish downloads and just hangs up even on the smallest ones.

Pushing pro-subscription for 1080p videos it's a terrible way to promote you extension. Ask pro subscription for something worthy of such as 4k or 8k videos options. Otherwise, better to look for alternative extensions or webpages.

Since the latest update, the extension has failed to download any long Youtube videos. For the shorter videos, the download speed has decreased.

You have to pay for anything useful to work, the reason makes sense, so not 1 star.
Also im noticing what looks like lots of bot 5 star reviews???...
The UI is pretty nice, so I would have used it more if it ... worked, ya know.

Well, tried again a few years since the first attempt. This time I managed to download two files from Youtube before it conked out and died. Only this time it did something to Firefox I've never experienced before. It stalled out everything, so I quit Firefox. Or so I thought.

It never quit at all, but instead of the application showing "Application Not Responding", I had to Force Quit. But even upon doing so, despite the window closing, Firefox remained open. Except no active windows could be open. Further attempts to quit via the drop down menu resulted in nothing as well. I attempted another Force Quit, and this time it responded.

I reopened the application, attempted once again to download from YouTube and the extension froze trying to create another download link.

I'll stick with ClibGrab, never any problems with it. These so-called YouTube download extensions never work.

If you want to download HD it asks you to pay for this. No way, I deleted this add-on right away.

The addon works well, but the "One time payment" claim is false. I've been asked 3 times in 3 years to donate as he removed my access. Should be more straightforward if he wants yearly donations instead of claiming a lifetime payment.

"Offers" 1080p downloads. As long as you pay them.

I can't find the customer service area AT ALL. This extension was working perfectly until I hit one video. Now it says it is initializing download, but it doesn't. Then it says download is complete, but it isn't. It says I should be happy that I have successfully downloaded another video, but I am not. I have donated to this add-on, hoping that would help me find the customer service people, but I still can't find anyplace to ask what happened. If anyone contacts me about this, I will change my review back to the happy, happy review I had before.

It actually is very easy to use, but sadly the downloaded video has significantly worse quality (everything clearly gets blurry) and it displays as lower frames per second than the actual video. 60 fps gaming video looks like it turns into 40'ish fps.... Not worth it to get a laggy crap quality video.

the new popup on the right when i watch a live stream sucks ....
