Can't do anything useful without money.

I am extremely impressed with this app, it works very well. Yes, you do need to donate to open all the functions, but there are workarounds if you can't pony up some dough for someone that put together such a great add-on.

Breaks youtube video autoplay, i have to manually press play button every time. Still good for donwloading tho.

This add-on is perfect, and works great 99.8% of the time. The other 0.2% is when Youtube is changing their coding and it can take several days for the add-on writer (dishita) to update his code to match.
THERE IS SO MUCH B.S. WRITTEN ABOUT THIS ADD-ON. THIS IS HOW IT WORKS:

FREE users - add it on and you can download medium mp4's and most 720 mp4's.

PAID users - You can download all 720's and any 1080's if they are there. It's these DL's that make use of his server, and he has to pay for that himself. That's why we donate.
ANYONE who is having trouble can email him directly and he responds quickly ALWAYS. Enjoy!

I love this! Just the other day someone or reddit noticed when a youtube vid is taken down you don't even know what it is your playlist has lost. Its so great to keep stuff you like permanently on your hd!

Edit. No longer works. Just tells me its in my download folder but leaves a 0 bytes file on my desktop and nothing else.

Recommended? Why? It refuses to work and informs you that if you aren't a PRO user then you aren't getting squat!

*Yet another* downloader by programmers too clueless to realise the converter for videos I want to download can run on my powerful PC instead of their servers they have to pay for. m( Or, maybe they're too savvy; maybe they make a nice profit from charging for the use of their servers. I miss the genuine free software of the '00s. If it exists any more, it's impossible to find amist all this GREEDSPAM! ;.; At any rate, it's not evil; the description clearly states payment is required, so it gets 2 stars. (I have tried a worse downloader today.)

In the free version, you can download 360p MP4s. After a one-time payment, higher quality videos and mp3s are available. VERY WELL WORTH IT! Excellent add-on!
