Easy to use, always works and comes with excellent support. I've tried a lot of similar add-ons, and this is the best.

Really glad I upgraded to Pro. It's really easy to use and I especially like the clean interface.

Page pops up telling you can't download HD videos unless you buy the premium version. As of 06/11/2019 some videos (such as age restricted ones) won't load with this add on enabled.

Best for high performance download. Must have for everyone.

I thought I upgraded this to the best version but it never gives me higher resolution options to download. For example, if I access a Youtube video that has a resolution of 480P the Easy Youtube downloader only gives me options for 240 & 360P.

I didn't expect any kind of service for a "free add-on! but I had a question and I was helped to solve my problem. Great service!

This add-on is fantastic lets you download 720p videos for free without having to install very questionable programs on my pc. Just click a button under a video and it downloads. But since I'm a rich chigga and want to see further development for this add-on I donated some spare crypto currency so I can get use of the 1080p downloads.

Just a heads up if you do use crypto currency to pay for the pro version it's gonna take a while. I paid a couple days ago, didn't get to the automated page for some reason, but the developer contacted me and sent the activation email. It just took longer than expected, but still a fantastic add-on, with great service. 10/10 :*

I don't know how to make add-ons but it's obvious that 'Easy Youtube Video Dowloader' was not easy to make or else there would be more like it. I use it all the time and love being able to download videos! For just a small donation, I feel better knowing I'm helping the developer. I will donate again because it has helped me so much.

Updated review 19 May 2021: Dishita has fixed the missing Download button. It disappeared a while ago but installing the 16.10 update solved the problem and there's the button again. THANK YOU, DISHITA.

Updating my review from 2018 to 2020: [new] I'm STILL using it, both in Firefox and in Waterfox. It STILL works great as ever. Dishita deserves the 5 stars and many many more cups of coffee :-D [end new review] I've been using this add-on for more than four years now; the developer not only keeps udating it but he/she allows users with older browsers who need to reinstall it, access to old versions! I have tried at least three other downloader addons, but this one is the best. It lets me choose by format/filesize, and doesn't mess up the webpage layout at all, nor any other functionality in my browser or my Mac. In my opinion, a terrific downloader and I hope the developer keeps this one going!

Upgraded to Pro - doesn't recognize me as a pro customer. No feedback to my support request. Can not recommend.
