    "download completely successfully" gives me two 0 byte empty video files. Does not download any video, only pretends to.

    Hi! "Download completely successfully" but saves nothing — that fake success message was particularly misleading. Version 24.1 fixes this so it actually downloads what it says it does. Update and give it a try! If it works, we'd really appreciate an updated review! 🙏

    it figures that as soon as i give financial support, it stops working. as with other users, files are not processed and thus downloads are 0 bytes. … should i seek a refund? or is this a YT issue?

    ADDED ON FEB. 25, 2026: i updated as advised to version 24.1. now when i try to download a high-quality video, i am told, "You’ve reached your free high‑quality trial" and that i should upgrade to PRO. um, isn't that what i provided financial support for, so i could download high-quality videos? yes … yes, it was. so until this is fixed, the one-star rating will remain.

    Hi ScoobySnacks2222, we really appreciate your support — and we're sorry it stopped working right after. It was a YouTube-side issue that affected everyone, not just supporters. Version 24.1 is now out and fixes the 0 byte downloads. No need for a refund — give the update a try and it should be back to working! 😊

    Doesn't work. After showing download progress it gives duplicate Explorer prompts to save the file to a folder, but files are zero bytes.

    Extension no longer works. It downloads the file it claims, slowly churns away in the percentages but in every case, it creates a file with zero bytes.

    After clicking download, I sit and watch it go from zero to 100% and tell me "download complete, then I click on the file and notice there is no data, "0byts". How does that serve me the user when the extension "pretends" to download a file?
