Grammarly, is first and foremost, a misnomer. If you would genuinely like grammatical help while writing, the best thing you can do is adjust the setting in the built-in grammar checker in Docs or Word to be more strict. Grammerly is not going to make your grammar better, and stringent adherence to a constant assured and direct tone strips the human variance from writing.

Grammarly strips your voice away from you. This is especially a problem in an era of AI detectors, where the featureless grey mush that is created through Grammarly has no more of a soul than AI, leading to your paper being at risk of being flagged, and likely you having to, at the very least re-do your entire paper.

Truly, there is no rating too low for me to give Grammarly. If I could give 0 stars I would. If I could give -5 stars I would.

collects website data by modifing the body secton on EVERY website (inspect): data-new-gr-c-s-check-loaded="8.934.0" data-gr-ext-installed="" data-gr-ext-disabled="forever" , and sometimes gives commas in the middle of words.

Grammarly has become absolutely terrible recently. It consistently will add punctuation in the middle of words, instead of where it was suggesting. The Pro nagging is also uncalled for and just gets in the way of doing anything actually productive. I can no longer recommend Grammarly.

Works like half the time. Other times, it adds mistakes, like putting a comma where it shouldn't be.

Use to be a pretty good product. Now, I don't know if it's FireFox or Grammarly, the extension won't even load.

Unbearably buggy in my experience. It constantly desyncs the text its trying to read, or the UI doesn't work at all if clicked on.

Garbage. Makes you constantly log in, but won't actually work on Google Docs or most other things. Even clicking on the extension shows a blank space. Grammarly has abandoned Firefox and should just admit it.

Was useful for a few years despite sometimes slowing down the browser, then started feeding garbage to its IA to train it, resulting in crappy "corrections". It's now only good to write sms full of misspelled words.

It has so many bugs, and they just don't care.
It is working only sometimes. Right now, to write this review, it started to correct and... stopped.
On another tab? Nothing. No sign of correction. I just need to find some other service like that that works.

I keep trying to sign in to my existing account as prompted in an email. It says to sign up, when I click, change to sign IN, enter my email address, click continue, it just flashes and goes nowhere. When I go back to email the message is still there. Even now I am logged in but still prompts me to sign up.
