publicado el hace un mesHi! Just to clarify, our update yesterday didn't add any new data collection. Firefox is simply using broader categories to describe data we’ve always used, like subscription and payment status. The wording can look intense, but we’re still strictly committed to collecting only the bare minimum needed to run the service. -L.L. - Se valoró con 1 de 5por Cookiz, hace un mesLatest update asked permissions to gather personal data and payment information, which is unacceptable for a VPN organization.

publicado el hace un mesHello! Just wanted to clarify that yesterday’s update didn't introduce any new data collection. Firefox has simply moved to broader consent categories for data we already used, such as subscription type and currency. The new wording can seem alarming, but our commitment to privacy and data minimization remains exactly the same. -L.L. - Se valoró con 1 de 5por Greg, hace un mesThe latest update sneakily forces privacy data harvesting, including financial information, forms, and payment data. This is ridiculous and should be banned.
RE: Stop making this sound harmless. Firefox is clearly asking me to approve new required data collection before the extension can update. I cannot reject these permissions separately, so in practice I either accept the added privacy risk or I cannot install the update.
The warning explicitly mentions personally identifying information, financial and payment information, authentication information, and location. That is not just normal technical wording. If no new data collection was introduced, then explain exactly why Firefox now requires this new consent and why users are being forced to approve it. At the moment it looks like a serious privacy downgrade, and I am not comfortable accepting it.

publicado el hace un mesHey, Greg, yesterday we had a Firefox extension update approved, and Firefox is now showing broader consent categories for data the extension already used. No new data collection was introduced on our side. The wording may look alarming, but in reality it refers to things like subscription ID/type, payment status, currency, etc. We remain committed to collecting only the minimum data necessary to provide and maintain the service. -L.L. - Se valoró con 4 de 5por David Hearn, hace un mes

G.M. - Se valoró con 2 de 5por François.puko, hace 3 mesesHello, I still can't use my dedicated IP address; only the Windows app offers it, along with Double VPN, Obfuscated, and Onion over VPN. The threat protection features are useless—they block some legitimate and secure websites. The ad blocker is ineffective; it simply doesn't work, so I've just disabled it. Split tunneling works well, but since Prime Video and Netflix detect VPNs, claiming that you can use a VPN to watch content from abroad is false and misleading.
