por TELLALL4ALL, hace 4 años9-9-25; HAHAHAHHA WHAT A JOKE. Should rename this FLAKY tab. The most unstable flaky addon ever.
Requires constant reinstalls. Can't load all features reliably. Takes forever to load and simply will not work with bigger lists like 100 or so entries. SELL IT to someone who can do the job because you can't developer.
3-30-25: take a coffee break while your waiting for this slug addon to respond. Unaware of any feature that allows you to quickly save tabs that will not be erased when you delete your cache requiring reinstalling them. Developer needs to DEVELOP IT.
7-29-23: better. still lags and is slow to respond to user input. Still no way to autosave your tabs, still having to cut and paste and save manually. This would be a good extension to allow syncing among different browsers, but I haven't seen that yet. Should have a way to annotate the tabs easily.
3-17-23: gotten better, good. Need to add an simplified instruction manual. Behaves differently across different browsers, not good. Need to add feature to auto save the urls instead of making you cut and past and manually save them. Still often painfully slow to load up and display and to add the urls to the list. SLOWWWWWW, wake me up when it's over. Good idea, fails mostly on implementation.
12-17-22 Better than it was, but still has a long ways to go to be compatible with most browsers. Biggest problem is constant lags and inability to show the tabs you supposedly saved. No auto backup of tabs, must do manually. Often have to reinstall to get it to work right. It helps but it's a PITA to use it. Better than bookmarks thou.
11-3-2022: another "recommended" addon waiting for someone who actually knows browsers and how to program to fix it's buggy behavior. Slow or impossible to load, unresponsive. No instructions. cannot backup links except manually by cutting and pasting. Has a mind (mentally ill) of it's own, rules for operation constantly changing. Has potential if someone who KNOWS how to program and KNOWS browsers would take it over an fix all it's bugs.
Often requires you to disable and re-enable the extension in order to get it to load. Slow to load. U must manually save the links as there is nothing in the program to do it and it sometimes loses the links. Idiot developer puts the SHARE link button too close to the Lock button and you are constantly having to delete the share that it made accidentally. Often opens a second window without any input from you. It's rough around the edges. Being "recommended" by ffox is no guarantee addons are any good.

Many other users are reporting the exact same issue, however the response from the development team so far has been denial, blaming users, firefox, privacy software, etc.
Clearly something is broken, be cautious when using this extension and make sure to backup your tabs regularly (specially before applying updates). - Se valoró con 1 de 5por AG, hace 12 díasIf my hard drive space drops below 10gb all my OneTab data wipes. It's happened twice.
There will not be a third attempt.Respuesta del desarrollador
publicado el hace 11 díasHi, we've checked the Firefox source code, and Firefox will not evict any OneTab data due to low disk space.
The problem is probably that you are running some kind of privacy cleaner or system cleaner software which is trying to evict Firefox data, and is wiping extension data (including OneTab) at the same time. 'BleachBit' and 'Advanced SystemCare' are known to do this. - Se valoró con 1 de 5por Usuario de Firefox 19045605, hace 12 díasFirefox Donot even try! Once it is activated there is noway to get back to your original tab layout unless you have backed up Firefox! I was able to get it back because I also using Simple Tag Groups and was able to restore over 1600 tabs using the Simple Tab Groups backup/restore.

publicado el hace 11 díasHi, you can do what you're describing.
By default, if you use Firefox tab groups, then each tab group will be stored separately, and can be restored separately.
If you want to store a whole window full of tab groups, and have the entire window restore at once with all of the tab groups inside, then you can do this by going to OneTab Options and choosing the "Send the current window to OneTab, including all tabs and tab groups" option. - Se valoró con 5 de 5por Usuario de Firefox 18549406, hace 13 días

publicado el hace un mesI'm sorry this happened. The problem isn't Firefox, it's software such as privacy cleaners, or disk corruptions, that can corrupt Firefox's data stores.
The solution is to either ensure that your regular backup software (that keeps your files safe) also backs up your Firefox profile folder, or to use our upcoming encrypted cloud sync and backup feature. - Se valoró con 5 de 5por yogi, hace un mes
- Se valoró con 1 de 5por Koiebe, hace 2 mesesNB! DO NOT USE THIS GARBAGE OF an addon. Yesterday received some update and today months of work is gone forever - no DB backup no nothing! It is not coded well at all!
I DID not refreshed my Firefox, neither did some kind of cleaning of the browser or Windows whatsoever.
What a f%#king shame !!!
I do not see any reason why is recommended app by Firefox, when I read that clearly I'm not the only one affected.
And please developers, don't say it is Firefox fault. It is not the only add-on we use. You can read firefox code, and fix your own!Respuesta del desarrollador
publicado el hace un mesHi, I'm sorry you lost your tabs.
What happened was not a bug in OneTab. Firefox profiles can become corrupted, and then there is nothing we can do on our end.

publicado el hace 2 mesesHi, I'm sorry this happened. It's definitely not a bug in our code, though. Something is wiping Firefox's internal storage - it's pretty much impossible for us to accidentally write code that would suddenly just wipe the entire contents of the storage and then delete the entire OneTab database after that.
Some "privacy cleaner" software will wipe Firefox data, or it could have been a crash causing a disk write error that corrupted the storage areas. Firefox's "Refresh" feature also wipes clean the extension storage. Being low on disk space when the browser is trying to write to its databases can also cause corruption. - Se valoró con 5 de 5por Rio Chandra, hace 2 mesesI love this. It restore my RAM instantly (because all tabs are closed and save the link). Web version is easy to use, instant response, drag-n-drop everywhere. I suggest add Ctrl+z (cmd+z) to undo previous action (if user accidently delete link. Also I suggest add right-click action to directory for easy quick-action.
Overall, I love it. thank you for you all effort.Respuesta del desarrollador
publicado el hace 2 mesesThanks, Rio :) We'll be implementing an undo feature in the future, especially to be able to undo move operations. Please also contact us at one-tab.com/feedback as we'd love to get more detail on the quick actions you're referring to so we can ensure we're building the right thing. - Se valoró con 1 de 5por Usuario de Firefox 15161687, hace 2 mesesStill having catastrophic data loss every few months. Been this way for years. Garbage

- Se valoró con 5 de 5por sdfds, hace 2 mesesit worked very well for me till some of the last updates, now when I open it via context menu the tab appears as the pinned leftmost one, and I have to perform a few additional clicks to unpin it and place as the rightmost one, where I usually need it. I just hope the developers will return the usual behavior of this function. All the rest features work well for my needs, thank you guys!

Respuesta del desarrollador
publicado el hace 3 mesesHi, do you remember recently being asked if you want to "Refresh Firefox"? This is a prompt shown to you when you upgrade to a new Firefox version (there is a new Firefox version released every month). This feature, confusingly, wipes clean all add-on storage including OneTab's storage. If Firefox ever gets a disk corruption, that could also cause data loss.
I'm very sorry this happened to you. We're working on cloud sync so in the future this can't happen. - Se valoró con 2 de 5por What???, hace 3 mesesI have same problem with this extension as other users where it would randomly wipe out my tabs. I noticed this on Chrome too.
