- Se valoró con 2 de 5por Usuario de Firefox 18296026, hace 24 díasThe extension is fine - the idea to categorize playlists is handy, and I've found uses for the extension. BUT, the sort by video duration being a patreon only piece is... kind of scummy? Like, yeah, I get why it is. I get that other options are out there for organizing them, but it just feels bad? Also the extension runs like shit. Anytime I have it open my browser slows down to like 1/10th the speed until I go and turn the extension off. All in all the extension can be good, but it has issues and those issues make it hard for me to actively recommend to others.
Edit: To be clear the video duration thing is not the main issue I have with this. It was just something that I wanted to point out. The reason I gave it a 2/5 was the severe issues with running it. I'm just specifying this because the developer replied and only mentioned the patreon only thing. As I said in the review, "I get why it is. I get that other options are out there for organizing them, but it just feels bad?" - this was meant to be "I think it kind of feels bad to have that paywalled but I can understand why." The developed however seems to think *that* was the reason I reviewed it this way and I just wanted to clarify it was because of the SEVERE performance issues. not the paywall.Respuesta del desarrollador
publicado el hace 24 díasSorting by video duration is a feature that was specifically requested by our paid members, so it’s available exclusively to them as part of the benefits they support the extension for. I don’t think that’s unfair or “scummy.” Premium features are clearly mentioned in the extension description, so there’s no attempt to hide this.
Furthermore, the decision to keep some features for the Patreon version of PocketTube was made to ensure the long-term feasibility of the free version. - Se valoró con 2 de 5por Usuario de Firefox 18568168, hace 2 mesesThe free version is useless, cause it puts the main feature behind a pay wall.

Edit: I tried disabling every extension I have and disabled and enabled PocketTube, but no change.Respuesta del desarrollador
publicado el hace 5 mesesIt's weird. I can't reproduce the behavior. Try to disable other extensions you use, maybe it's some sort of conflict.
UDP: What version are you using? The latest is 3.4.3 - Se valoró con 2 de 5por TigerNightmare, hace 10 mesesWorkarounds for YouTube's terrible, constantly devolving UI always result in someone trying to cash in with something that automates things you can already do, just with more ease of use. The first thing I tried to do was move some watch later videos to a different playlist, so I clicked the checkboxes for the videos, then I clicked on the Save to Playlist button and nothing happened. I thought it was broken. What actually happens is tiny blue 'JOIN' text shows up in the bottom left corner that is extremely easy to miss if your sidebar menu is visible, which mine is, so it overlaps with stuff and makes it look cluttered before disappearing in a couple seconds.
Two actually functional things are the ability to delete videos from playlists in one click with the trash can button, and deleting a group of videos by selecting them, pressing the remove button, then confirming. Useful if you're really bad at removing videos from playlists, but a marginal convenience otherwise. Neither function works from a playlist sidebar when the YouTube player is visible, only from the playlist page.
Maybe it's better if you pay $3 a month/$30 a year, but I have no idea if it actually works, as YouTube breaks these things as often as they come out and I can't test it without paying, and even if it did, I can't really justify paying for saving a few extra clicks.Respuesta del desarrollador

Furthermore, the decision to keep some features for the Patreon version of PocketTube was made to ensure the long-term feasibility of the free version. - Se valoró con 2 de 5por Adriano Azevedo, hace 10 mesesAs a developer, I support Paywall, but Pocket Tube fails in the clarity of its limitations. I am a Contributor (subscriber via Firefox) and NONE of my Groups/Subgroups are synchronized on Google Chrome (extension) or the Android app. This is unacceptable. I will maintain the subscription for now, awaiting the developer's justification regarding this synchronization failure. If the limitation is confirmed, I will cancel and change the rating to 1 star. If it is due to my poor configuration, I will retract and adjust the rating.

publicado el hace 10 mesesWe don't have a Google Drive sync for playlist extension, the Android app for playlists doesn't exist. It's clear and wasn't mentioned anywhere in the description or the premium features list, which you see on the Patreon tab. If you need, you can export/import your playlist groups using a file. Just click on the extension icon and export/import your data between browsers. - Se valoró con 2 de 5por Usuario de Firefox 17963083, hace 2 añosI just wanted something that would allow me to move multiple videos to different playlists. Sadly, this feature is paywalled. It also has many other features, which may be useful to you, but not for me.

- Se valoró con 2 de 5por Usuario de Firefox 18388412, hace 2 añosiThis could be really great, but I don't see what we can do with the basic features.
The presentation video is different from what we find.
And the price of $3/month is way too expensive.
Especially if we can't test if it works beforehand. If it's about giving your credit card only to cancel afterwards, it's a practice that I don't appreciate.
But good luck to the developer anyway.Respuesta del desarrollador

Such as setting one or more channels to an playlist and any video they upload go right into the playlist.

Why 3? It is the first version. It can't include all features.
