High CPU usage on YouTube when using the latest extension version 6.43.1 with DeArrow. Had no problem when using the extension version 6.42.60

It's not work on 6.43.7

WHEN will this crap ever work properly on shorts? Like, works maybe 10% of the time on shorts IF i'm being generous.

In fact, it recognize the short bellow the one i'm currently watching way more often than the one i'm currently watching. Infuriating. Even THEN it's not always. I'm really being generous when i say it works 10% of the time on shorts

Absolute garbage now , I can't download any videos now but can download web pages which is useless to me .

When i used it, it whined about "missing config files" and when i used my laptop a few days later,it lagged it sooooo hard. worst extention ever!

Even with allowing: "Show download panel for protected content which IDM may not download" it stopped working from one day to the other. Reverting to previous versions 6.41 or other older builds and so on will not fix it either.... Fix it.

Can't download certain videos.

Initially, this thing didn't do what I wanted it to do. So I uninstalled it. It forced my computer to restart and logged me out of literally everything I was logged in to. Feels like Malware at this point. Do not download.

Every time I open the YouTube website, this IDM extension causes the main program to launch automatically, forcing me to manually close it. It's really annoying!

Everytime I open youtube the desktop app starts by itself and it's annoying.

The module of both this and chrome messing-up with naming rules of all other image downloader extensions I installed and I have to turn it off to fix it.
Consider to make it right on next version release.

Stop deleting my reviews. The latest update DID NOT fix the download panel issue. Most of the time the panel doesn't pop up and when it does, it only offers 360P as a download ... please re-investigate. :( UPDATE: V6.42.50 did NOT fix the problem ... still no pop-up) (V6.52 still nothing - WTF ... can we please revert to a working version like 6.30 ... geesh people!!!) Just updated to 6.42.58 on 18Dec2025 and now the download panel on YT is gone again, FFS people !!! ... *I can't fncking belief it ... new update build62 (March2026) and once again the damn download panel isn't working properly ... WTF people ?????????*

You've ruined this add-on mozilla! You can't choose the download quality anymore on youtube.
You've shut down the other working add-on to this.
