Pretty great extension, only issue is that since like november, or maybe before, the channel points don't get collected anymore. Any info regarding this ?

For anyone having issues with hiding ads, using this together with the uBlock Origin script from github repo pixeltris/TwitchAdSolutions seems to work.

Just buffering when hiding ads. So same/same.

It works much better than normal Twitch player.

HOWEVER: It's such a shame the left side-bar isn't showing. I pains me greatly :(

Great extension. Very useful with the hotkeys and simplistic UI. Recommended!

It's better than twitch player when that stops buffering the streams with my 100mb/s fiber internet. But the alternate player adds a 10 second delay which is sometimes annoying when watching and reading chat. I hope this gets addressed along with other concerns that people have.

Clipping does not work, everything else is good.

Does not work anymore for drops, you need to go to the official Twitch player to progress drop rewards. Also doesn't work good for blocking ads, in the past (multiple years ago) it was working well, no ads, no downtime, but now it just hides the ads so it stops the stream for one or two minutes, then it plays the stream again, not really good.

I used to have a lot of buffering problems with twitch, but now i get a smooth experience! Yippee!

Works great, gave me extra quality settings with an ad block which I'd been struggling to get beforehand.

pretty nice player with one small issue I found at least happening on my system: channel points are not counted when using this. I disabled the alternate player and channel points were counted again, but not with it enabled. Bit sad, but I don't mind that much

Does what it says. You lose some plug-in functionality compared to the regular player, but there's too many ads on Twitch to use it without this anymore.
