was working fantastically until recently. now get an error on every channel on Twitch.

What i have noticed ADD-ON works flawlessly during like 7:00 - 20:00 GMT timezone ,but after something changes and "Channel with the specified name does not exist. Perhaps you typed the wrong address" is showing no matter what channel you try to watch !!! Someone at TWITCH is clearly targeting and screwing up this awesome add-on,bless the Alexander Choporov to work around this harasment 🙏

Today my Twitch was just stopping all the time, buffering, driving me nuts because connection seems solid otherwise. I have it a shot and it basically solved all the problems just like that. Before it was buffering at 720p and now I could watch it smoothly at 1080p. I dont know how it is achieved, but it does work. Plus addons UI looks really nice! Fantastic job on that one!

Ridiculous how people are leaving 1-2 star reviews because the app needs an update for a fix. The definition of "choosing beggars". It will be fixed shortly.

Anyway, this extension is amazing. If you leave or have left a bad review because it needs an update, at least remember to come back and change your review when it does get fixed.

App is currently not working, but 99% of the time it does and it works great! people who are voting low stars clearly don't know how to actually submit an issue to the developer.

Very nice extension but twitch probably changed something so that it no longer works at the moment. Hopefully it is possible to fix this.
A Few Moments Later: It works again :-)

Only thing that works to block all ads and purple screens on twitch right now. The volume is quieter than the default player for some reason, and the latency is a bit worse, but it's a small price to pay.

EDIT: Of course it stops working the day after I send this review. I assume twitch changed something but this extension is broken for me right now.

EDIT 2: Working again 2021/01/25.

This add-on is a life saver! i have a 10mbit connection that is not constant in download.
With this addon i can increase the buffer specifying the goodness of the connection and stream never stop.

Great player with a lot of thought put into it, but one star ding for lack of pop-out video support via Firefox picture-in-picture. ( https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/about-picture-picture-firefox )

UPDATE: It seems raiding doesn't function correctly, when the twitch channel raids another channel it doesn't swap to that channel's video feed when the first one stops broadcasting. The chat does swap, however.

Awesome add-on. Way more convenient then streamlink and streamlink twitch gui.

Twitch showing splash screens because apparently Jeff Bezos is going broke and really needs the ad revenue from Twitch Affiliates who don't even get a piece of the ad money anyway. Nothing like modding a channel that gets interrupted every ten minutes because twitch wants to have a QQ fest about using ad and tracker blockers.

also confirming to get addon to work again, all you need to do is remove the add on and re-add it.

Could use a way to only replace the player, not the whole tab's content.

Very good extension for weak computers and laptops. I have performance issues on default twitch player but with this all works fine.

very nice addon, way less cpu usage & ram when watching a stream ( twitch use WAY too much ) one little thing, it seems like a message "hiding ads" for 15sec made his appearance,and it totaly stop the stream, which is a bit annoying. ( ok for now its unusable saddly as its like stop every 10min for that "hiding ads" thing, no idea what is happening or the reason )

Works great. Only problem is it doesn't join raids. Also a new development that twitch must have released in the past few days. Some streamer channels don't load with the addon and when you manually start the addon, it says The stream has ended. They are live at the time. Update: It's a new DMCA setting that streamers need to enable to stream Amazon Prime videos. So, I don't expect this to get fixed.
