It's been great in the past 2 months that I've been using it, but recently the video has been freezing randomly like the other recent reviews say. Audio continues to play however. Simply pausing/unpausing as well as refreshing the tab will only give me a black video. I have to close and reopen the tab to fix it, but it will freeze again eventually. This doesn't happen in the native player. This is a great extension, please look into this issue!

*Update* I get the same outcome even after disabling webrender.

Great addon, but as of last night the app doesnt appear or work in firefox, brave, or any other browser that I installed it on. It shows up in the extension, but not where it should be to click to activate it when a streamers live stream starts. Either its outdated, or the browsers did an update.

Love the add on, would love for this to support BetterTwitchTV add on as well.

EDIT: Like SPF before me, for some reason this extension will load the stream player itself but won't load the chat in Firefox. But I did notice that with this extension, chat loads without a problem in a Firefox fork like Comodo IceDragon.

Really great, just wish it could run twitch addons.

It's pretty great, just set it up by yourself, it's more advanced then the default one of course.

But how to play archived streams? I tried adding this after ext. adress -> "player.html?videos=421388813" but of course that didn't help. Any way how to play archives?

Great extension! I have only 1 main issue: chat doesn't pause while scrolling. Try to fix it, please.

Not perfect, to be frankly, yet very performative and promising. I'm really looking forward this addon get better in future.

Alex, I started having a problem since Version 2019.1.23 Released Jan 23, 2019. The player doesn't start auto-playing when I go to any channel. Player opens but the stream is paused. I have to push "space" every time to make it start playing. Is there a solution to this?

On firefox the chat doesn't pause while scrolling. Luckily there is an extension that fixes this https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/twitch-chat-scroll-fix/ but sadly it doesn't work together with this extension so I can't really use it.

The default player makes my computer heat up immediately, but I've had no issues at all with this player, it works great! The only thing I'd like is the ability to use it with VODs as well.

I used it only because it was the only solution to ads for me. Now it shows ads so it's pointless to use with inferior features to twitch's website.
