If you have problems with youtube addiction, incrementally enable more features. It's easy to get used to and incredibly effective. The extension is also excellently maintained.

Makes YouTube a much better experience. I have a passionate resentment towards the business practice of YouTube, and it's creators, with clickbait titles, affiliate stuff, "product reviews" which are basically ads. It's turned into a huge advertising machine which we are voluntarily watching. With this extension a lot of junk is cleaned up. In combination with unsubbing from every so called "review" channel, it's turned into a somewhat functioning product again.

Let me clarify something to you. I don't really need most of it's features, but just the fact that I could turn off almost anything, makes me happy. I just hate when websites have all kinds of restrictions. This extension gives you freedom to choose.

i really like this extension its very useful and gets rid of all the unnecessary stuff off youtube ui, also id like if they added a feature for removing member only vids from appearing on reccommendations

It has been updated, after a long period with no updates; it's now finally at the same version as the Google Chrome version.
It provides a lot of great features, which make interacting with Youtube a lot less addicting, frustrating and annoying. Besides allowing you to set limits on Youtube watch it includes toggles for hiding or changing most of the parts of Youtube — which are the parts I find the most useful. It seems to be working without issues, which is great to see.
It's great, I love it, and I'm so glad it's back.
