Very slow. Adds QR code to video if you don't pay $30 for a license. youtube-dl is much better.

Useless extension. No idea why Mozilla is advertising this garbage. This extension does only one thing as far as I can tell, it prompts you to download a standalone program. The program is what does the actual downloading. So what does the extension do besides (probably) spy on you and tell you to install that other program?

There's PLENTY of programs that you can use to download youtube videos without needing to compromise your browser privacy and security by using an extension. And god only knows what data the standalone program is sending the developer of this thing.

This used to be a flawless app. I have repeatedly donated to the site. However, it seems broken now. It will freeze mid-download about 80% of the time. I have uninstalled, reinstalled it..it just freezes. Also in the past, if it did not fully download a video, it would give an error message,so you knew it did not download it. But now it shows it as downloaded where only a partial download was done. Can you offer help to a used-to-be-happy paying customer? Thanks

Don't install this anymore! This addon was actually good a few months ago when you could just donwload any video or rip audio from video to Mp3 but now you get a watermark in the videos you download. All of a sudden the addon want you to download and register other stuff that I'm not interested in. I write this review to save your time and not install this addon. Here is what it says when downloading a video:

"You will notice the resulting video contains a watermark in the corner."

"This is because you chose an ADP variant and the conversion feature has not been registered."

DOESN'T WORK. JUST SHOWS A LIST OF UNINTELLIGIBLE OPTIONS. NO WAY TO JUST DOWNLOAD FOR EXAMPLE 720 OR 1080 MP4 VIDEO LIKE OTHER DOWNLOADERS.
WHOSE MATE PUT THIS ON MOZILLA RECOMMENDED LIST.

Begleitanwendung wird nicht erkannt, und damit funktioniert alles nicht. Support nur in Englisch und so kompliziert, daß ich keine Hilfe gefunden habe. Verschwendete Zeit.

Für mich völlig unbrauchbar. Twitch's sind ok, YT werden aber zwangskonvertiert zu webm, was soll das. Andere holen dort mp4 als Original ab...
