No puedo descargar los videos de youtube ni por Mozilla ni por google chrome

Does not work without installing some sketchy looking add on software.

Asks to download "companion app". No.

Pick a different add-on.
I have used an older version of Video DownloadHelper for years.
I got a new laptop (with windows 11), installed firefox and Video DownloadHelper.
This new version doesn't do anything other than telling you that it requires a companion application.
Shame on Video DownloadHelper for doing this.

Need to install other program and also the download and rendering process is super slow

Ne fonctionne plus : demande l'installation de compagnion,même si celui-ci a été installé

Very good! It is easy to use.

Won't really download much anymore. The "add on companion app" is clearly a scam or virus because it doesn't actually work. This should be removed from the Add-Ons store.

Whenever you try to download a youtube video it ask for companion app and when you install it, it ask to get a license. This is really annoying

Nach Update am 01.Juni 22 defekt!

Short version: They now add a QR Code watermark to your downloads so you'd pay for their software

Used to be the best, now you'll notice some "downloads" are slower, that's because it's actually downloading, then adding a QR Code, frame-by-frame, to your downloaded video, because now they decided that they will add the QR Code as a watermark to get you to pay for their convertor. Don't believe me? Hop on Youtube right now and try it. It used to be a very simple downloader as is, now it's unusable. Unusable unless you pay.

Doesn't work. Requires separate desktop app installation that doesnt open on Mac even after allowing it on OS level.

Don't download: add qr code to the video and requires additional software installation and spends your CPU cycles to add an annoying QR code

This extension flat out DOES NOT WORK. It asks you to install an external application, where the "install" button to install said application does absolutely nothing.
