Can't use it because Apple won't allow the companion app to be installed

TLDR: Find another solution to fill your download desires. Very disappointed with Mozilla for permitting this app to be marketed this way. Have come to expect better from Mozilla, though that is meant in the very best of ways since I've never encountered an app worthy of a negative review on the site before.

How things have changed. Seem to remember this working as advertised back in the beginning.
Now, not so much. Free add-on places an intrusive code in top corner. Can't miss it. To get rid of it or download in any useful file format or other feature you might need, you have shell out $27! for a "companion app".

Still spotty at best. But if you're into frustrating download experiences that end without you getting your download, this is definitely the app for you.

Crapola, need companion app to download anything, some sort of malware probably.

I ended up trying to update the compainion app cause I thought 'hey maybe that will allow me to download from twitter', given before it was spotty at best then just stopped working all together.

It wouldn't update, at all, cause I needed 'admin permission' despite being the admin. Okay, I'll just delete it. I couldn't, and now there's about 50 mb of data as junk files left on my computer cause I'm unable to delete said files, or even uninstall fully, cause apparently the files ffmpeg and the net download helper coapp thing are stuck on my computer cause I don't have permissions to remove them. I'm not dealing with this anymore, I'm done.

This was good like 6 years ago, now you can't download anything, you can only "stream" it and watch it through their own player, I need something to download and have it on my laptop, this add on is AWFUL!

Requires a desktop app for windows or mac to work at all. WASTE OF TIME.

waste of time do not download. not downloading. you need to install software on ur windows also. if we have to install soft on windows then why should we need this??? we alread have 100s of soft for download videos.

One star for watermark. You just had to go there, didn't you? Uninstalled and never coming back. Sometimes it is better to LEAVE THINGS ALONE.

The application does not work in the new Firefox version. It does not detect any videos, although I play it. Please, correct it. Device Gm9 pro android version 9.0
