This extension is the worst piece of s**t I've ever seen. I made an account and signed into it just to make this review. Not only does it NOT WORK, but it requires this massive privacy-invading add-on that's 40 MB and is mandatory to use it. Then, once you have that downloaded, it fails to recognize any video, and in the 1 in 20 chance it does, takes forever to download it, assuming it actually downloads it correctly. All these 4 and 5 star reviews are COMPLETE LIES! This extension is utter dogs**t! I wrote this review just to warn people not to use this crap. Not to waste their time on it, and not to download that massive bulls**t "companion" add-on that's required. I've never hated a free browser extension more than I hate this utter trash that has wasted countless minutes of my life.

Not sure why but when I tried to download a video from facebook it used 100% of my CPU, and I have an intel core i9 9900k, not sure why it needed so much power.

Avoid. Incredibly slow thanks to "aggregation" after the (already slow) download process, adds a massive QR code to any video downloaded that can only be removed with the nearly 30-dollar paid license, requires the installation of an external program for no clear reason and the extensive permissions requested seem suspect.

Video Downloadhelper used to be an amazing extension. Now it's a piece of shit. It embeds a QR code in your video, and it take 5 hours to download a 5 minute video because of "aggregation". It's sad to see from such a previously great app.

Puts a large watermark on the screen and demands payment to have it removed. $28.50 ...seriously?

If I could rate negative stars, I would! Why do good addons go through enshittification?!

I would rate this a five, but it added a QR Code that covered one-fourth of the screen and covered the subtitles! Great job!

Interface is too complex and counterintuitive. This extension stopped working

Не дополнение, а навязыватель стороннего ПО. пока не становите ничего не получите.

Now demands payment if you don't want a watermark on Youtube videos and many other ADP-based video sites.

needs another freeware installation that can acces to your directories (not secured) + add a big QR code tag in your video + takes too long for download / converting ... it should not get an award from Firefox. Easy Youtube Video Download Express is better for me (but with limitation of 720p and with quality available in links in the web page ... sometimes youtube provides more as a video flux). The good thing : no cost.

Ce module ne fonctionne plus pour télécharger des émission . Dommage

The purpose of downloader addon is to avoid external executable. Not sure why this addon is so popular but there are other extension that works better than this

Having to download an installable is unacceptable

Ich bekomme ständig nur angezeigt:
Nur in Firefox – Laden Sie Firefox jetzt herunter

Ich habe Firefox aber schon installiert, bekomme das AdOn nicht geladen/installiert ! !!

Used to be nice but now it only interfaces with its own third party program it wants you to download thats full of bloat/malware.

how to perfectly screw up a working and time tested add-on...great job Videodownloader, youre out
