Boo! This used to be great, but they added an update that leaves a watermark in the corner of the video. Uninstalling this garbage, bye bye aholes.

I have been using this excellent addon for years, and it was perfectly doing the job. This is no more the case now, since the addon only allows you to download "low quality" videos, unless you agree to install an external app, in which I cannot trust.

Ridiculous Adware recently added, where they put a huge QR code in top left making you purchase a license to remove it.. No longer Free. Use another Video DL unless oyuw ant a huge QR code in all your video downloads... Plus it takes forever for them to encode this into the DLed videos.. Very Disappointing. This USE TO BE GREAT APP.. Not worth $20 licensing FEE.. Use another Video Downloader..

I assumed that I was trying out a donations-only (ie. a freeware) video downloader. Not true! After installing the add-on, I "discovered" that I also had to install an auxilliary "converter app" directly onto my computer. So I did. Then I went through the app's many, many options. I finally downloaded an actual video. Success! But when I played my video, I saw that a watermark had been stamped on top of every frame. Digging deeper, I learned that the watermark-free version of the app costs $28. If the developer is selling a $28 app, then he should say so UP FRONT. Instead, he suckered me into wasting 2 hours of my life chasing after something I wasn't in the market for. FireFox should ban this developer and his app.

Added water mark on downloaded videos. Asking for registration. It was better and got lot worse.

easy to use

High memory usage 99.5% slows down computer.
Requires reboot to get back to normal.
Upside it works very well as a video down loader.
Reinstalled Mint 19 and Firefox (removed all add-ons) same problems.
Only add-on that will produce this effect.
Running I5 4gig ram Mint 19 Firefox 62.0 64bit

Used to like it, but that QR code is just bad now, there are many free alternatives, you were a good one before.

constant spam for donations, constant spam to write a review and wants 3rd party installer to download basic files.

Suddenly you have to pay for getting a video without watermarks but you're only told *after* downloading a large video file which is now useless.
