Schade, ich habe dieses einfache und zuverlässige Add On lange genutzt. Jetzt ist es, auch wenn man die Erweiterung (die bisher unnötig war!) installiert nutzlos geworden. Vielleicht haben Ubuntu User mehr Freude daran? Irgendeinen Grund muss es für die positiven Bewertungen ja geben. Als Windows User habe ich jetzt fast 2 Stunden installiert, experimentiert, mich geärgert und den Firlefanz wieder deinstalliert. Hoffentlich gibts mal irgendwann einen funktionierenden Ersatz!?

C'est clair, il s'agit d'obliger les utilisateurs à acheter une licence pour le téléchargement de vidéos HD avec Video DownloadHelper. Par conséquent, bye-bye Mozilla Firefox, welcome Internet Explorer. Avec RealDownloader installé pour les téléchargements, le navigateur de Microsoft fonctionne très bien.

Notation sur Vidéo Downloadhelper : La dernière version 7.0 (obligatoire avec Firefox 57) est devenue quasiment inutilisable , il serait urgent de revenir à la version précédente qui fonctionnait très bien.

It was good but now it's useless. I've so much problems with Companion App: I can't install it... before it works very well

Used to be the best, but unfortunately it no longer works after 57 update. It is very sad. I hope this will be fixed some day. I will change my rating again.

Video Downloader use to work, but not after updating to 7.0.

Completely broken now. Newest update ceases all functionality. I used this on a daily basis and now I have to get a replacement.

La versione 7.00 fa sì scaricare file video (mp4) da RAI PLAY della durata media (= 90'), però poi non posso vederli né con VLC nè con altro Player!!!
Cambiare estensione non serve a niente!!! Il file video (?) è inutilizzabile!!!
Se invece i file video (mp4) sono di un'ora (+ o -) allora non c'è problema...
Che altro aggiungere...???
Ah, sì: ho risolto il problema in questo modo:
UTILIZZO LA VERSIONE PORTABLE 53.0 DI FIREFOX E VIDEO DOWNLOADHELPER 6.3 = EUREKA! SI SKA!! SI VEDONO!!!

Ich habe Videodownloadhelper immer gern verwendet. Seit der neuen Funktion geht es überhaupt nicht mehr. Es dauert unendlich lang mit dem Zusatzmodul, und dann habe ich noch nicht einmal den Ton beim Video.
Ich habe dieses Add-on wieder deinstalliert. Schade !

after It automatically updated for firefox 57.0, I cannot use the stream recording function anymore. btw, vdo stream recording that I used to is no sound in the clips.

I used to love the video download helper extension until I upgraded to Firefox 57 then needed the Video download helper 7.0 Firefox extension.

That needs the companion app which is in the DEB format for my Ubuntu software based computer (17.04 distro), it should be as simple as downloading the DEB file then clicking on it.


It should then automatically run with the Ubuntu software centre then install the app only when I click on install, nothing happens.

So,I have to run another Firefox extension because Video download helper no longer works.
