Worthless most of the time.

Can somebody PLEASE explain to me why some videos can be downloaded in certain formats and some can't?

All I want to do is download a video in mp3 format. I don't want to do it in some obscure file type that I need an extra downloadable thingy for. Some videos are able to be downloaded in mp3 format, others are in... ADP, which takes up far more space and requires another program? Which videos fall into which category seems to be completely AT RANDOM.

Definitely NOT "the easy way" as advertised.

Avant la mise à jour de Firefox, Video DownloaderHelper marchait parfaitement bien. Il téléchargeait en MP4 de la qualité que l'on souhaitais...bon bref, c'était parfait. Mais maintenant, depuis que Firefox a été "revu de fond en comble", il ne marchait plus (il était indiquer comme "module obsolète"), je ne rappelle plus comment j'ai fait pour qu'il marche mais j'ai réussi à le faire marcher. Cependant, il ne télécharge plus les vidéos sous format MP4 mais sous un format "fichier" qui était très contraignant à visionner sur mon ordinateur et ne pouvait pas être visionner du tout sur mon téléphone portable. Donc, j'espère que le créateur me comprendra et pourra corriger ses défauts car je serais ravis de pouvoir réutiliser Video DownloaderHelper à nouveau.

The huge problem with this. It asks some addition converter for download many videos. While online downloader shows there are clrealy options to download HD video as it is. And I think year ago downloadhelper was better with this.

Not impressed. When I tried to download an HD video, it told me I needed to install free software to merge the audio and video. I then downloaded it and the software ran the CPU at peak for several hours. Turns out, the extra processing was to add a giant watermark. Only after do they say you have to pay to do it all over again without it. Isn't that called extortion?

I paid for another tool that was cheaper and much more effective. It took only a few minutes to process.

Yes, you can download any video with this extension, BUT you should have to pay to remove the big watermark.

used to be great, now it's shit. It places a massive bar code on every video you download and if you want to remove it, you have to pay them.

Die vorgänger Version war viel besse.
Die Bilder in der Bedienungsanleitung stimmen nicht mit dem Menue Einstellungen überein.

Man kann den Zielordner für die Downloads nicht mehr einstellen.

Auch ganz schlecht man muss ein Zusatzprogramm installieren um streaming Filme aufzunehmen.

I loved this, used it for years pretty much flawlessly but it no longer works on FF 57.0. The "interface" is horrible and it won't download anything anyway so I guess I'll have to try something else. Very sad.

How to define the name of the downloaded videos in firefox 57???? Is it still working????

since updated to firefox quantum i cant convert videos to mp3.
