2023- is good, 2024+ is bad

Last time I used it was 8 months ago. Using it on FF and Chrome and im still using Mac Mojave OS. Worked great. Would have bought it but they don't support PayPal so I didn't. Red Flag for me and glad i didn't.

Just tried to use this last week and it did an automatic update. This BROKE a working App. After a lot of reading in the site conversations I got the retro App and and the older Companion Plug-in I cant get this to work at all.

Even used some older downloads that i combined the MP4 and ACC back then and the ERROR of Aggregation error still pops up. A lot of wasted time trying to get this to work the way it use to.

THIS USED TO BE A GREAT PLUG-IN. So SORRY its a no go for me now.

Hat bis vor kurzem sehr gut funktioniert. Jetzt geht nichts mehr. Ich soll eine Begleitanwendung aktualisieren. Die Anleitung dazu ist unbrauchbar. Die nötigen Files gibt es an den angegebenen Stelle nicht.

It was good... until their last update as of 1/20/2024 when prompted I am being forced to download an external .exe in order to "work". Which I find very suspicious. How do I know I am not downloading a keylogger? How do I know I am not giving them access to my PC's private data? I won't. But because they were good for a few years, they got good ratings enough now to trick new users to make it seem ok and fine doing this. No worries dev... I reported this.

And it looks like I am not the only one... and the stupid dev, I'm assuming desperate for cash and looking for quick cash, risking the death of the plugin, the dev even throwing in botted reviews to combat the 1 star reviews!

Rarely used but found out today it puts a giant watermark on the video :c and they want $30 dollars and dont support paypal....what a sad joke.

To other reviewers: this add-on has always required a companion app.
However, now they are forcing you to pay almost $30 for a license to convert the videos without a giant watermark on them. For me, this defeats the purpose of downloading videos. So, I will be uninstalling and finding an alternate. It would help if we knew more about who was maintaining this extension so we could have some sympathy for the developers. It was great while it lasted!

Requires a separate .exe to even run. I'm already suspicious about running extensions, but really, a side app as well?

When I try to save a file to the root of the drive after updating to a new version, I get the following error

EPERM: operation not permitted, mkdir 'D:'

Please fix it as soon as possible.

Was working fine until latest update required a new "companion" app. Now downloaded videos won't open properly.

Ohne Zahlung von 19 EUR völlig nutzlos. Erfordert Companion-App. Und die blendet einen riesigen QR Code als Watermark ein, wenn man noch nicht gezahlt hat. Deinstalliert.

This application directed me to download a piece of junk companion app(vdhcoapp-2.0). Crap! Crap! Nothing but crap!!! Stay away! You will regret it.

Seit Jahren benutze ich dieses Addon und ich erinnere mich, dass ihr diesen Mist schon einmal gemacht hattet und dafür einen Shitstorm geerntet habt. Nun macht ihr es erneut und siehe da... Wieder hohe Beschwerden... Wie kann man solch ein super Tool so vermiesen, indem man einen riesen QR Code hinklatscht... Sorry, aber dieser Dreck kommt sofort wieder von meinem Rechner runter!
