Seems only to adjust tempo. Not what I wanted at all. Ought to adjust pitch!

This isn't a pitch shifter, it's a tempo fader. Totally different things.

This is not a pitch fader - this is for speed and speed alone. Dont install if you want to adjust the pitch.
