Disable HTML5 Autoplay par Afnan Khan

- Noté 4 sur 5par Cris Jolliff, il y a un moisCurrently causes a Cloudflare confirmation loop on Indeed.com, but works well everywhere else I go.
- Noté 4 sur 5par Richard, il y a un anGreat extension. Only drawbacks: it doesn't seem to have any effect on Reddit, and for some reason it prevents the Cloudflare Captcha to succeed on deepl's login page.

- Noté 4 sur 5par icegoblin, il y a 3 ansWould be nice to have an editable white-list that allows regular expressions (or similar syntax). As an example, bandcamp has subdomains for each band and I'd like to disable it for the entire website, instead I have to disable autoplay for every new band I listen to.
- Noté 4 sur 5par Utilisateur ou utilisatrice 15271304 de Firefox, il y a 6 ansWorks fine, BUT, can't figure out how to set Per-Domain Preferences. Want it enabled for YT but disabled for everything else.
- Noté 4 sur 5par kayak, il y a 6 ansDoes what it says. If you want to preload videos/thumbnails, you can by hovering the mouse enough times or clicking and releasing (to activate the media). The only problem I saw is that in some websites, like reddit, don't play videos with the extension on -- they don't work. But this is very minimal.

- Noté 4 sur 5par Phillip, il y a 7 ansIt works MOST of the time with YouTube. I usually have to reload the video page for it to kick in.
- Noté 4 sur 5par Khlieb, il y a 7 ansSince Firefox 66 released, Firefox can disable HTML5 autoplay by default on all platforms.
- Noté 4 sur 5par rosekitsune1, il y a 7 ansI'm using Firefox Nightly 67 64bt on my Windows 10 October 2018 laptop. And the add on does not work at all on YouTube and... any other sites.
- Noté 4 sur 5par Utilisateur ou utilisatrice 14609241 de Firefox, il y a 7 ansIt works but where's the source code you "licensed with X11"?
- Noté 4 sur 5par Dhawal, il y a 8 ansAdd on is working great, however it would be better if the videos(particularly embedded youtube ones) don't buffer in background.
- Noté 4 sur 5par Utilisateur ou utilisatrice 12291841 de Firefox, il y a 8 ansWorks very well for the most part, but like other reviewers are saying, it seems to not work for Youtube anymore.

Feature for deserving 5 stars: allow to edit/add whitelist items.
As of v2017-12-20 it has to be enabled for every bandcamp.com subdomain (anydj.bandcamp.com)
Could you please implement a fix for that? - Noté 4 sur 5par Jilles, il y a 8 ansNot perfect (had some glitches) but the only extension that I've found that actually offers a whitelist approach. I verified I can block on sites like CNN and can allow on sites like youtube & netflix. This should be built into browsers period and on by default. I can think of no good reason of ever wanting to allow this by default. So, good work.

- Noté 4 sur 5par Ashby, il y a 9 ansSeems to work for me...it does break some websites--but so does the built-in FIrefox preference in about:config. This at least lets you whitelist sites that break...
Really this addon shouldn't be necessary--Mozilla should add click-to-play html5 video built-in, like they have for Flash... - Noté 4 sur 5par Utilisateur ou utilisatrice 13092968 de Firefox, il y a 9 ans
