The extension's purpose is to prevent links in Google pages (Search, Gmail, maps, etc.) from turning into an unreadable, obscured link (see the add-on description for a clear example). The address bar has nothing to do with that. What you may see in the address bar are search suggestions, provided by the search provider that you have selected. If these links have an undesired format, then you need to find another search provider.

- Noté 5 sur 5par Lilith D. Bracken, il y a 8 moisThis extension is really handy for anyone who wants cleaner browsing on Google. It removes all the annoying link conversions that track clicks on Search, Maps, and other Google services. Links go directly to the site you want without extra tracking or redirects. It works quietly in the background and makes using Google much smoother. Perfect for those who care about privacy and just want a more straightforward browsing experience.

- Noté 5 sur 5par Loïc Noss, il y a un anI've used it for years. It no longer seems necessary and their new invasion of privacy alternative can be blocked by uBlockOrigin filters. Thank you for all these years!
