The extension is very necessary - no doubt about that. But it heavily loads my CPU and SSD to nearly 100%. The browser freezes immediately. Author, please find a way to fix this. I also thought - Firefox has a picture-in-picture mode for videos with video controls - maybe your extension could use that?

Hi, thanks for sharing your feedback. This extension can increase CPU load slightly when scrolling through Instagram, but shouldn't trigger any stress on our drive. If you want, you can share a screenshot of you browser's task-manager via my email.
Firefox does support PiP, but doesn't offer a JavaScript API for developers. It only offers its own floating PiP button, but developers cant use this function manually. That's why this feature is currently Chrome exclusive in my extension.

I moved to ReelSleek wich is working flawlessly and is actually a better addon overall

Yeah it doesn't work and needs updating because instagram now prevents the slider from moving naturally.

Was working very well, like the other people said: Meta might have changed something. Video controls doesnt work anymore ... Hoping for an update.

the fullscreen fits based on the sides not the top and bottom so the vertical videos appear zoomed in

Definitely a necessary thing, though currently not working due to IG UI change. Might work again soon if updated.

This extension was a 5/5 until recently when it started doubling the audio. this review noticed the exact same thing: https:// addons. mozilla. org/ en-US/ firefox/ addon/ instagram-video-control/ reviews/ 2602103/ . If this is fixed, then it will go back to being a 5/5.
